No iCloud on Snow Leopard? THIS IS A JOKE, APPLE!

Right now I'm thinking about leaving Apple products behind for good. So I can't use iCloud on Snow Leopard (which is not that old)? Meaning my syncing (contacts, bookmarks, calendars etc.) will just stop when they shut down MobileMe in 2012?

GREAT WAY TO DEAL WITH YOUR LOYAL CUSTOMERS, APPLE!

I can't update to Lion (various reasons). So now what? Dump the crap Macbook+iMac+iPhone in the toilet? Should be a great idea!

VERY PROFESSIONAL, CONGRATULATIONS!

The logic is simple: most iOS owners are Windows users. They have to support Windows to keep iOS ahead of android and other smartphone/tablet competitors. As for all the iOS owners who are Mac owners, they expect you to upgrade to Lion.

Not making iCloud available for SL is deliberate business strategy, not an oversight.

Totally disagree, it is obvious (just from this forum) that iCloud on Snow Leopard would have a large user base, why on Earth would Apple toss revenue away?

Apple is hoping to force upgrades on everyone.

It's like my original verson of AppleTV. Apple says I need to buy a new one in order to have AirPlay but I jailbroke it and AirPlay works just fine on it.

I have been a Mac user for over twenty years.

I have been her for the bad times and the good times and now

a Steveless Apple does not give a hoot about people who cannot afford to purchase

a new computer to just get nto icloud. I have a been an itoold member up until a

.me member. I have spent over twenty grand on Apple products and now that

the economy ***** and i have zero coin to upgrade i get this BS.

Apple, I am starting to belive i was a fanboy for so many years. To You Tim

may you have the courage to do to the right thing and give iCloud to non-Lion

Mac Computer people.

I am starting to think we should occupy Redmond and start giving them money.

It will be interesting to see how widespread that sentiment is. I don't like iCloud, I don't like Lion, and I really don't like Lion Server. The MobileMe features I used the most are gone, it looks like I will be replacing my Mac mini servers with Linux servers when it's time to retire them, and I'm going to wait and see what Windows 8 looks like next year before I make any more computer purchase decisions. I never thought I'd ever consider returning to Windows PCs again, but that's the effect Lion is having on me.

Why not stop threatening to return to Windows and do it, spending your money elsewhere may get Apples attention, threats cost nothing.

Interesting interpretation. It's merely my perspective on the current state of things, nothing more than that.

Threatening to go back to Windows is becoming more common on this forum lately, actually doing it might cause Apple to take notice, talking about it ...... maybe not.
