The iCloud IMAP server “p99-imap.mail.me.com” rejected the password for user XXXX
p99-imap.mail.me.com is not editable in my Mail.com configuration. Is this just a temporary glitch?

Mine was working for about an hour, but now is failing again.
Now even my iPhone is saying the password is incorrect. So now I have no mail access at all. What a joke.
It was working for me as well up until about an hour ago. Maybe iCloud should have been $99 annually still less users and less overall load on servers.

Interestingly enough my iPhone is still getting mail. This is a FUBAR, let's hope it does not evolve into a a SNAFU. 😀
You can add me to that list!
I've lost @me email on phone, pad and mac... keeps saying password incorrect. Can't access iCloud as well. just get the white spinning wheel.
Think Apples servers are being overloaded, even the support pages are running slow and chat has taken over 1.5 hours for an assistant.
There is major disconnect right now between MobileMe (going away) and iCloud... and AppleIDs/ servers are issue in between... seems like it's temporarily up and down for some but it's definitely system wide.
It must also have something also to do with move from SSL with password authentication to Apple token (for security across multiple devices/ etc)
It's interesting that the below iconography on Apple ID site wasn't changed before this debacle (10.7.2 and iCloud and iOS5 and Mail woes)
The beauty of Apple was always having Hardware and Software folks on same page.
I think this has become more and more difficult.
The Calendars, Contacts and Find My Mac web-apps are all working well.
May I please go to the head of the line? Dear Apple fix my email first. Thank you. Now fix the remaining 143 million users.
Same here. I hope I'm not missing some important work related emails.
Same here.
Same here, maybe the system is a bit stressed out with everone syncing there new iClouds!
It used to be that the MobileMe account was the driver and iTunes would use any ID on the side. I am no "dummy" but this chang has got me confused. Now we use the Apple ID, which was really in my case just used for store and iTunes, now as the primary driver for everything and the MobileMe mail is tagged on. I am not sure if, as a mobile me user I should even have the iCloud Mail switched on?
I will be more confused when I get home and add in my iPad2 and iMac to the sync, because the iTunes setup I have for that pair is different from the one on my MacBook Pro and iPhone 4. Also what happens with my sons MacBook and his iPhone that used my iTunes ID. Does he end up getting all of my stuff of the iCloud on his computer. He will have to swithch to using his MobileMe account as his iCloud ID and loose all his iTunes synced music, I think.
This seems to be a fundamental switch which seems to have potential to screw up a lot of peoples happy times with their MobileMe and ITunes separate.
Same here unable to get email all day sometimes its the iMac sometime the iPhone. Trying hard to remember Apples claim "it just works"
DirtyBuddha,
Thanks for the methodology. It worked great. None of the other suggestions I've read here did any good.
This is very disappointing. I'm getting the same thing across All iOS Devices and and Macs...
Was really looking forward to a stellar rollout .... guess not. NO MAIL FOR YOU!😟
Apple have now acknowledged a problem... the answer, were looking to fix it asap!

Lets hope they can.
