Airport Port Back to My Mac After iCloud

Before iCloud, I can see my Home Time Capsule from my office via Back to my Mac (Network).

Now I can't, but I can see the other Mac computer at my Home.

Do I need to do any setting with my Airport Utility for the Port Mapping ?

Slightly different problem here. I frequently access my home iMac from my MacBook at work with Back to My Mac. Since updating to 10.7.2 and migrating to iCloud, I can no longer see the iMac. But, I can see my TimeCapsule and my two other laptops that have BtmM enabled. When I take my MacBook Pro home (and on my home network) I can see all of devices fine.

This thread was helpful, I'm having the same problem. So far I have migrated 3 of 4 MobileMe accounts to iCloud. I have a small business with two locations, all mac and mac routers. Prior to iCloud I enjoyed the benefits of a virtual private network (I could see computers, printers, shared folders on any computer from anywhere in the world)...

I tried something silly simple. In the system preferences for iCloud, I unchecked Back to my Mac, I was prompted to enter the Administrator password and I did. I then re-checked back to my mac, this notified me with a 'starting ...' message. I proceeded to do this on all of the computers in both locations and right now this is working.

What's not clear to me is what will happen when the last account is migrated to iCloud. I'm superstitious, but thankkful to have a partial solution.

Hope this hels a few of you.

Hello All!

I have following setup:

- time capsule with static and public IP address, which is logged on to mobile.me

- mobile.me account migratedto iCloud

Once I updated my MBPro to 10.7.2 and migrated mobile.me to iCloud - I have lost the access to Time Capsule from remote networks.

But whe I've too fresh MacBook Air with original 10.7 Lion, once logged on to mobile.me, I'm able to see my Time Capsule again!

So the issue is not in Time Capsule and not in iCloud - it's only in Lion 10.7.2!

Please do not mislead Apple's technical support, just rewert to 10.7 and try it - hope that helps for you.

Understand that you are using 10.7.2 and iCloud vs 10.7 and MobileMe. The problem still is both possibly OS and/or iCloud. iCloud however DOES NOT work with the Back to My Mac feature on the Time Capsule as of yet. We're all hoping that Apple will come up with a firmware patch of somesort to fix this. In the meanwhile, keep the feedback going to Apple -- hopefully the patch will come sooner...
