Airport Port Back to My Mac After iCloud

A downgrade is not an option. just fix it.

I can't get BtmM working with two 10.7.2 machines and iCloud... All worked seamlessly before!

I just bought a macbook air and time capsule. I was sippin on some koolaid earlier and apple.com totally sold me, it sounded like the perfect setup! Now I have my Macbook Air and Time Capsule but i can't use them as they were advertised. apple support is pretty useless, no one can help

also my apple id login is all messed up. It didn't verify so I had to change the email, now I can't change back but I can still login with my original email on parts of apple.com...!!!

Apple please fix my AirPort Exteme! I depend on its ability to share my hard drive and access it from anywhere. If not please let me know how I can get a refund, because that was the only reason I purchased it in the first place.

I hope we are all posting our thoughts at http://www.apple.com/feedback/icloud.html so Apple know how strongly we feel about this subject. I personally bought a MacBookAir with it's tiny memory because I had 2tb of easily accessible memory on my airport extreme. Bad Apple 😠

I've confirmed that this is a 10.7.2 issue. When I used a desktop that was only 10.7, I could see 4 different remote Airport Extreme or Airport Time Capsules via the Aiport Utility. From my MBpro that is 10.7.2, I couldn't see them.

My MobileMe account had previously been converted to iCloud, so it is something that broke in 10.7.2.

OK- it's a 10.7.2 issue. I upgraded from Lepoard to Lion 10.7.2. Is there a way I can downgrade to 10.7 ?

Sorry, don't have a method to go to 10.7. Perhaps find an Mac not upgraded to Lion, create a new user and try airport utility on that.

Apple, Please Fix this. I haven't been able to connect to any of my airport extremes from Lion at all since upgrading to icloud/Lion. I can still access them using the one snow leopard machine I didn't upgrade to

Lion yet. (They all have my old mobileme name setup in the mobileme section.)

AirPort Extreme and Time Capsule were updated to 7.6 today. Can anyone confirm if this enables iCloud Back to My Mac?

Before the update if I was logged in with my account that I migrated from MobileMe to iCloud, my AirPort would complain and say it wasn't a valid account (complete with flashing yellow status light). Updated and logged in again. So far, no warnings and solid green. But I don't have a way to test it fully since I'm at home.

Anyone tried it yet?

I just updated all 6 of my base stations, put my mobile me info in them and checked from my office, it still does not work.

Back to my mac on mobile me is a seperate service from back to my mac on icloud.

Since i now use icloud back to my mac I doubt it will ever work until they add icloud back to my mac into the airport software and not the old mobile me servers.

Apple PLEASE update this, I have routers with all my clients using back to my mac so I can remotely manage and reboot them as needed.

Port forwarding will not help as back to my mac is a Dynamic DNS service that apple uses for finding computers and devices.

If Apple don't update this, we will also loose the ability to manage TC or AEBS remotely via Wide Area Bonjour (currently offered by MM)

I am holding off the migration from MM to iCloud. I also have a few SL machines that need MM.
