UPDATE:
Returned my 7th iPhone 4S yesterday which had a yellowish screen. Emailed Tim Cook again today to inform him how disappointed I was with the quality of these iPhones, don’t expect a reply. To pay almost $1000 Canadian for a 64GB, the iPhone would have to be perfect and I shouldn’t expect anything different from Apple. Received another phone call today from someone at Apple who provided me with an update from our emails and last phone call. I had previously provided her with some of the serial numbers from the yellowish screened iphones that I had returned. She stated that the department had checked our some of the 7 iphones that I returned and deemed that the screens were within specifications and acceptable. She told me that there was no issue with the screens and no requirement to change the LCD manufacture or implement a color temperature and contrast options in the settings menu. I had some difficulty yesterday trying to return the 7th iPhone but finally succeeded. So, with Apple stating that there is nothing wrong with the LCD screens and no action is required, I will NOT be ordering another and will wait until the next iPhone release or just may buy a different brand. I’m so sick and tired of ordering, waiting, receiving and returning these iphones and with the information provided by Apple, I’m at the end of the road and will stick with my iPhone 4. If any of you think this issue will be rectified, think again. You will need Apple to admit there’s a problem and they indicated to me today that there isn’t. I indicated to her that I’m done trying to purchase an iPhone 4S and may totally forget about Apple and that there’s many more Apple loyalist in the same situation. Shame on you Apple! Good luck everyone.
