Siri is not working AT ALL on new iphone 4s. Anyone else having trouble?

My problem with Siri is that it won't give me lists of resteraunts in my area anymore. This feature worked in the store and when I got it home for the first few hours, but now it just tells me that it can only search for businesses in the United States and when im using U.S. english. All other functions seem to work just fine, is anyone else having this problem?

Siri has worked perfectly for me since I purchased the phone 3 weeks ago. I tried your questions and received prompt answers. Just tried local restaurants and Siri came back with 17 in a short time. May be it is a production run (chip) issue.

Finally:

1- Change the Siri language from English (U.S) to English (United Kingdom) or Australia.

2- Speak a bit with Siri.

3- Change the language to English (U.S)

4- Be happy

On some days I experience problems with Siri or the general voice to txt feature (the little microphone on the keyboard) I ssume they are the same. Yesterday I was unable to use Siri or Voice to Txt for more than 8 hours. A reboot did not work. Is this typical of the voice service with apple?

I was getting the I'm sorry I can't help you . . for three days. I did a total reset and Siri is back.

Total reset is a pain,but it worked.

You mean a restore?

My Brother Iphone was having the same issue, I found that it was due to the WIFI it connected too, it was connected to BTFON, and then SIRI won't work, but as soon as back on 3G it was fine and worked again.

I had the problem on WiFi and on 3G so it was definitely not the network.

I followed the directions form this post:

"Have had the same issue for the last two days. Doing a "Reset All Settings" under settings General/Reset/Reset All Settings worked for me also. Tried, turning Siri off and then doing a hard reboot as some others suggested and it did not work - only the "Reset All Settings" will work. Not too much of a pain to do, all your email data, potos and music files are saved with no change."

I lost my contacts, but they were in the cloud and when i re established that setting, they were back.

I just recently came across this issue and it drove me insane! I read many posts where folks reset all settings & everything went back to normal. Even though that process isn't that time consuming I refused to acknoledge that as a solution....sounds more like a msft response. I tried various things and nothing worked. I found a post that listed a viable solution. Followed these steps and it has restored Siri back..

• Double tap the Home Button
• Close all open applications that are running in the background
• Disable Siri within Settings\General\Siri (off)
• Power Cycle your phone
• Power up your phone
• Re-enable Siri within Settings\General\Siri (on)
• Test Siri!

I had been having trouble with *SIRI* since Yesterday , not wanting to work and telling me she was sorry and to try again later .

I read above , someone saying that they had to disable their WIFI .

Mine was the opposite !

Once I ENABLED the WIFI , she WORKED !!!

Worked fine. The trick is you have turn off Siri before you powerdown phone. Tried it the other way and it did not work. Wierd bug as it worked for weeks before that with no issue. Only thing I did before it went sour was to upgrade itunes.....

guys, the only working method is restoring the system, I've tried turn off/on siri and power cycling, didn't work. Hope it helps.

I'm getting the Null Null in the language section of siri too Has anyone found out how to get some choices there?
