Siri is not working AT ALL on new iphone 4s. Anyone else having trouble?

iPhone 4s arrived by mail today. Turned on Siri via Settings/General. Asking REALLY simple questions like "What is the weather?" and Siri has not responded ONCE with an answer other than:

"What was that again?"

"Sorry, something's gone wrong. Can you try that agan?"

"Sorry, I didn't get that."

"Uh oh. Something's wrong. Can you try again?"

SO frustrating and disappointing. The microphone doesn't seem like the problem, as it is able to record audio elsewhere.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue with Siri?

I'm having the same problem in Massachussetts. Many times I can't voice dial because Siri doesn't recognize what I'm saying (I'm an American English speaker with no strong accents) or "I'm really sorry, I can't take any requests right now". I had a much better time of it with my iPhone 4 and also my old Motorola flip phone. I'm going back to a iPhone 4....thankfully I can still trade it in within this 2 week "honeymoon" (hah!) period. Apple shouldn't have released a product that was still in development stage. Very annoying!!

I tried NBTatoo's suggestion below and it does NOT work.

"DO THIS PLEASE AND YOUR SIRI WILL WORK!!!! Press button and activate Siri, when Siri is activated hold down the power button until the power off button appears, when it appears on the top of the screen hit the cancel button on bottom.... Press the button to activate Siri and itll work now....."

Did you do it right?? Cause a couple people I know who have this phone and that problem it worked for them and myself. People seem to bulls&@$ a lot and think they know what they are talking about but don't know their *** from their elbow.... I know this works and if yours or others try and fail well your not doing it right or your phone is busted..

I've been getting the "I'm really sorry, ..." message for at least the last 24 hours. And, yes, I tried the suggestion in the prior post a number of times and it didn't change the fact that I'm still getting the "I'm really sorry, ..." message.

Has anyone else been having a consistent problem with Siri the last 24 hours or so? BTW, I'm in the U.S.

I've had this phone for awhile now and Siri has worked in the past.

Thanks.
