iTunes Match Freezes in Step 2

keep itunes match turned off on iDevices till itunes is finished as well

it doesn't help at all.

Has anyone tried contacting Apple or heard anything from their end about this issue? I am having the same one also.

same problem here. apple support (germany) says: i dont know..

i'll make a guess and say it's working for a very small amount of people because there are probably millions of people trying to use itunes match, and the icloud isn't some infinant magical storage place. apple is just sh itty lately and they are not prepared to keep what they offer running now that we've paid for the service for a whole year.

Another one joining the ranks... Not working for me here in Switzerland since yesterday. Stuck on Step 2. I've deleted the "offending" song and tried with some otrhers. I have also tried on two different Macs running Lion and Snow Leopard.

Same result...

every song in my library is "waiting"..it *****!

Hi everyone...my first post here..

I am in the UK and signed up for itunes match on 16/01/2012. The process was going fine. 46% was matched the remainder was being uploaded (even though some songs were modern and existed in the itunes store e.g songs by artist Jurassic 5)

Uploads were going slowly as i only have 0.7mbps upload speed so i shut down the computer and went to bed thinking i can resume in the morning. Since then i.e 17th Jan nothing will work to get itunes to match the content....and believe me i have tried everything...a complete waste of my time as i have come to the conclusion there is now nothing i am doijg wrong and it is defiitely occuring at Apples servers.

Simple test...just create a new library...add in just one song...and it won't even match that....

Normally i recommend the apple way to friends...but this is a flakey unreliable service and i feel that Apple should do the honourable thing of at least saing that they are experiencing problems and sorry for the inconvenience.

Hope you guys have better luck. I'm going to try again in a couple of days as this is a waste.

I am in the German iTunes Store, it fhat helps. How about you, is this happening only in the German Store or also elsewhere?

If I delete the added songs and run "Update iTunes Match" it will finish. If I then re-add the songs, it gets stuck close to the end of stage 2.

Sorry to say I am also locked here in Utah. Locking at 1840 on 2269 tracks. I have re-booted and re-started iTunes several times. No go.

I've US Store...same here..

Same for me here in Spain. It was working OK since yesterday, since then, any songs I tried to upload hungs in step 2 and remains forever in status "Waiting"

It is not working for me either in Colombia. I was not able to add songs to iCloud. It is freeze at step 2.
