iTunes Match Freezes in Step 2

Well then I dare say that Apple knows about this. It seems to be a global problem. Hopefully they solve it soon. I guess for the time being I need to sync my iPhone music manually 😟

@Apple: Please fix this and tell us what to do!

Hold on now everyone. We have determined 2 things:

1) It happens to almost everyone everywhere

2) It's not the users fault but Apple's

So please wait until someone figures out a solution or Apple fixes it.

No need to post everyone's location as most of us get an e-mail about every "same problem in Sauth Africa" post.

I guess the real question would be "is this working for anyone?". If they cannot handle 2300 tracks why worry about the limit of 25,000. 😁

I have a similar issue : iTunes match does not go further than the second step (sometimes it goes to the very beginning of the third one and then crashes iTunes).

I almost have matched all the tunes (more than 99%) but one a tune has blocked all the system (don't know witch one) and iTune has crashed, and since, I am stucked to step 2

Almost certain it's a buggy stuff fromApple (I am sure the are repairing for all of us).

I have this problem as well. It stops at 295/11944 in step 2. However, it isn't freezing. If I look that the files it is opening through the activity monitor, I can see that it is accessing one file every 2 seconds or so. So it seems to be progressing, but not reporting any progress. Maybe. I'm going to let it sit overnight.

At one point I was almost done (10,000 or so total progress) and it really did freeze up. I hope that does not happen again.

That might get them moving a lot quicker then talking here. It is known that that doesn't work very well. These forums are a service for helping each other, not for addressing Apple.

So if we all start filing complaints, that might speed up fixing it!!

I have a similar issue. My library was matched the first run, but now that I have added a few songs, iTunes Match stops at "3602 of 3607" songs.

Any idea what is going on here?
