iphone 4s problem with airplay losing conection after few seconds ?????

My problem was completely fixed with the latest firmware update for my Airport Extreme and Airport Express approximately a week ago. Used Airplay for hours since then without incident.

Don't work:

Me too, Airplay AND WiFi network crashes after a few sec. using iPhone 4s + Libratone Lounge???

Plz solve this major issue Apple - it only happens with my new iPhone 4s........or is it the Libratone/firmware?

Works:

iPad and iPhone 4 both work fine with the Libratone Lounge + Airport Express!

iPhone 4s 5.01 and Airport Express 7.6 respectively seems to work!

Having same problem with airplay. Iphone 3gs, ipad all work with airplay, but iphone 4s doesn't.

Iphone 4s works as remote for mac and apple tv. It can't be a wifi problem, it must be a software bug.

Even tried rolling airport express software back to previous version but no use. !!

i also forgot to mention, that it works for 5 - 10 seconds, then loses the wifi connection, after which it is no longer able to recognise my wifi network ( it doesn't show up in the list of available networks )

Hi has anyone tried a hard restore on their phones? I went to the Genius Bar today, the advisor who was fully aware of the matter was convinced that the issue would be rectified after a hard restore. Once trying, had no luck, still the same with the airplay cutting out. I'd be intrigued to see if this does works with anyone else ...

Yep. Did restore and restore from DFU mode separately. No difference. Same problem

I have this problem too. I have contacted B&W support — will post if I find out anything useful.

Same problem here with sonos and aiport express: All works with 2xIphone 3GS and Ipad2 but not with 2xIphone 4s, all devices running the most recent firmware. Hope there will be a solution soon, its annoying.

I´m not happy with the iPhone 4s plus Libratone Lounge setup - ìm gonna retur both tomorrow to Apple.

Same here spend two day until I found this here and gave up.

Settup: iPhone4s and AirPort Express both latest version - resetted, restored and so on.

It works sometimes only a few seconds sometimes for a few songs - than all crashed.

I use my AirPortExpress als part of WDS and as AirPort Player for years iPhone (3Gs and 4) worked fine - 4s not!

Having the same issues with a new zeppelin air bought today...loses the wifi connection on both ipad2 and iphone 4s running on ios5. Very annoying...will call B&W tomorrow.

Just adding myself to the list of affected. I am able to get about 10-30 min of streaming music via iPod or Pandora before WiFi loses connection, music cuts out and the Airplay option is removed from the player. Only the iPhone 4s is affected; iPhone 4 and iPad 2 stream with no issues.

Airport Express (g) with latest firmware

Having had a scout round the net, it seems all airplay speakers are affected, it's the iphone 4s and it seems Apple are aware of ut and reportedly sorting ut....

Has anyone else tried connected their airport express using ethernet not wifi. I did this and it seems to be working on my 4S again. Only time will tell for how long.

I have also problems with the connections between iPad iPhone 3s, and iPhone 4s and the Zeppelin Air from B & W!!! I think it's because off the latest iOS version! Before never problems! Apple come with a good solitions please!
