Does Microsoft Visio work on MACs?

There are lots of good suggestions mentioned throughout this thread. I landed on Lucidchart for my Visio for Mac solution. It's just as snappy as Visio, though it's cloud-based so it'll work on Macs (or any operating system.)

I agree with dstauff2. Lucidchart has almost everything you might use Visio for, plus it works on any operating system.

Srsly, d00d. What a lametard. MAC is also a kind of makeup. If I had to virtually beat up everybody that put Mac in all caps, I'd be one lonely ******* soul. And I'm not. MAC MAC MAC.

Bust seriously, is there anything with the great types of shapes as Visio that works on my Mac? I've been trying out Dia & Omnigraffle. Omnigraffle is the better out of the two (for free anyhow). But, even if I have to pay, is there anything better? Just as easy to use as Visio and with the same amount and kinds of shapes. A lot of the free stuff seems like the shapes aren't plentiful enough. I need various kinds of users, machines (Server, DB, PC, etc.), firewalls... anything?

Solved it!!

If you download the free Microsoft Remote Desktop app, (which is rather good). You can access Microsoft Azure Remote App service. There is a free trial, but even after that it's pennies.

If you have a Microsoft Office 365 login, you sign in and will see that you can access Visio from the Remote Desktop. In effect it opens a fully functioning version of Visio in front of you. You can open, edit, create and save.

Simple, elegant, awesome. Really no need to look at anything else (as long as you have an internet connection)

You can try Edraw Max for Mac. It can import the visio vsdx file. The software has the simialr UI like the Visio Windows version. So it is very easy to start.

And the answer still hasn't changed... Go complain to Microsoft. Visio is not an Apple product. Apple has no control over Microsoft.
