CUI CUI CUI error 10.7.3 all apps crashes
Just updated to 10.7.3 and everything crashes. All apps all windows will just pop out error with CUI CUI CUI CUI on all bottom!!!:(

We need to do something to let's apple know. I am now restoring from time machine. And it is going to take me 4 hours and I will loss my windows on parallel and I will not be able to do my school project which is due tomorrow:(

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of this exercise is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login. Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
- Be sure your Mac is shut down.
- Press the power button.
- Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone.
- Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple icon and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on some Macs.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test. Same problem(s)?
After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode.)

I already putting my Mac on time machine restore. Why do this happen and it is just for very few people.

Same here. MacBookPro8,2 Feb2011. Nothing attached except Power and Network. Same problem in safe mode.
Looks like something broken in:
CUIElement::LoadFromArtFile
And that can cause all apps to crash?
Every app I start crashes. The "xxx quit unexpectedly" dialog opens and the buttons and the scrollbar don't have their usual graphics but a "CUI CUI CUI ????" background graphic. The Text of the button is printed over it.
Exactly the same problem here. Even in safe mode.

I'm seeing this too on a 2011 MacBook Pro 15". Safe mode didn't help. Restoring from time machine now :-(
