Why can't I change my itunes from US to UK? everytime I enter a valid UK card I get the above error message. It *****.
Is this Apple's business to check does my credit card belong to this country or not? I may have credit cards in dfferent countries and I can use them wherever I want. I can buy salt from the market with this credit card in a completely different country but I cannot buy applications from App Store. This is ridiculous.
If it is a bug, just fix it. If it is a kind of a "security" policy, I have to say that: "it is ********!"
Having the same issue, I've tried changing it on iPad (via app store and settings menu), iPhone, iMacs itunes and on the apple website. Keeps telling me the above.

This issue has been going on since 9pm last night as i've been trying to set up my phone as i got it yesterday and i can't do much 😟
yeah, i got my new iphone today (was an ipod 4g user before) and it happened right on time when i wanted to download apps. what a bumer

Same problem here - It says my "The payment card you entered is not valid in Finland. Please provide a valid payment card for Finland' even if the Visa issued to me is from Finland with Finnish bank numbers and my one and only apple account is registed to Finland (I just recently moved to UK, but obviously my geographical location shouldn't matter as long as I buy stuff from that specific app store my payment card is registered to).
Tried my Nordea card too and a switch from Slovak to Finnish account, same thing. Apparently this is a widely spread issue. Guess guys at Apple will notice that the app purchase counter has slowed down 😉

Same message here in Cornwall UK, got new I Pod touch yesterday cant use my already registered payment card. 😟
same issue here. have a new iMac and can't authorise it to buy apps from the Mac App Store. Credit card is perfectly valid and I've tried a few others; no luck with any of them. My laptop, iPhone and iPad still work OK and I buy stuff, just nothing on the new iMac.

Mac in uk live in uk and card is uk.. Phoned apple and they said they can't do any thing. Are you also trying to use a visa card?
