Volume is much lower after upgrading my 4s to IOS 5.1???

Hard reset doesn't work for mine.

This is first that I did, no fix for me

Hard reset fixed nothing for me.

Thought it was just me. Ringer volume plus call volume is lower for me. It was never loud enough for an old hard of hearing guy like me before, but now it's worse.

Got the Same problem, Calls are almost impossible To understand

Only made Update To 5.1 didn't change anything Else

Having the same problem after updating to 5.1 and tried everything as Hard reset and still having a low ringer volume

Guys, the solution is simple. Just buy a brand new iPhone.

Likely won't be one until apple releases an update. All we can do is wait at this point.

resetting does not work for me either... its time for everyone to start reporting this issue - lets get it resolved.

I have the same problem... ringtone volume decreased 😟

My volume also became lower after "upgrading" from iOS 5.0.1 to iOS 5.1. Not only that, but the bass level has decreased as well. When I had iOS 5.0.1, the music on my iPhone 4s sounded wonderful. The music sounded very rich, full, and deep. Now it sounds tinney and like it is coming out of a tunnel that is a mile away. Apple, please fix this.

To all of you who are experiencing this problem, I suggest you "reset all settings" and set up your phone as "new". Plenty of users have had this issue and resetting and setting up as a new phone would solve the issue.
