Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I get the following error messages when attempting to download my mail from:
Mail OS client, "The iCloud IMAP server “p99-imap.mail.me.com” rejected the password for user ..."
web login to iCloud, which works for all services except mail, I get:
and on my iPhone:
any idea what is going on? anyone else getting this error?
MacBook Pro (15-inch Glossy), Mac OS X (10.7.3)
Same problem.
I can check my @me.com mail in a web browser, but not on my iPhone, iPad or iMac.
Anybody know what is going on?
Is this still a widespread problem?
The alert just says "Cannot Get Mail - Connection to the server failed."

Same thing happening on all devices. 2 days w/o mail on iMac mid 2007, MacBook Pro 2011, iPhone 4S. Some messages appear on my iPhone in the home screen as a notification and then I go to check them and they are not there.
I've been having this problem for over a week, both on my Mac and iPhone. Every day I wake up with the same message as shown in this thread. What gives? Is this permanent? Should I change my e-mail client or e-mail provider altogether?
Follow the links in this thread. I was able to solve the issue and another verified that it does work.
