iCloud Mail Down (12:30PM eastern, Apr 17, 2012)?

I was in the middle of responding to an email on iCloud.com's mail interface, and all of the sudden the "Send" button grayed out. I see I have 1 item in my drafts folder, which must be the last auto-saved draft of the reply I was typing up, but I cannot get to the draft. On iCloud.com, the loading spinner just spins and spins and eventually I get an error saying the folder can't be loaded. Same thing happens when I try to go back to the Inbox. I tried to load up the draft on my iPhone 4S, but it also just keeps spinning and never loading the draft. The fact that the problem is occuring on two devices (on separate network connections, one PC on my office's wifi and the other my 4S on AT&T's 3G network) seems to imply that the problem is server-side. Is anybody else seeing these problems?

I'm located in Tallahassee, FL. Not sure if that matters, but I suppose it could be a regional outage.

What just made me laugh is the bot that tells me if there is any activity on this thread will mail me at my mac id...FAIL ;(

in new caledonia (french pacific) , same problem with mail on icloud, try on my ipad, mac book air and iphone....don't work and full down since this morning... 😢😠😟

North Carolina here. All iCloud syncing down, all day. Even after upgrading my password to the new standard. Got to be more than 1%!

Just read that Gmail was down for bunch of people yesterday for something like 35 hours. Coincidence?

So annoying - I've been down since last night and since I freelance for a living here in Los Angeles. I have now gone 1.5 work days without email. 90% of how I communicate with prospective jobs. I am waiting on 2 gigs to book as I type this. So frustrating!

Same problem here in Sydney, Australia.

All I can say is the only think that ***** more than the weather here at the moment is the fact I have not had access to email in over 24 hours and have zero received communication from Apple. At least when Gmail is down, Google publicly acknowledge the problem and provide a timeframe for when it will be back up and running.

To think I started using iCloud mail for a more integrated experience, now I need to start using my old Gmail account again. Nice work Apple!

i have the same problem in Australia.

i cant access my icloud on my mac and even on Web version mail on icloud.

it been like this for more 2 days!

i have different error message, 1st it says wrong password then i also got an error message says not enogh space. veryfrustrating...

This is just ridiculous! I am so mad! Even when trying to get it to work- I trashed 10k emails and upgraded to the $100 50mb package. All unnecessary actions. Inexcusable Apple. Fix it. NOW! Don't force me to move to google. I am so frustrated right now!
