I am having the same issue. Did you ever find an answer?
I have the same problem. Send a mail to Apple, but no answer yet.
Just got a reply from Apple. They do not allow sole propietors (which I am) to register as a company. You have to register as an individual.
Anyone get this resolved? I been on the phone with Apple and DNB for the last 2 weeks and still nothing.
Yeah, my company is having the same issue. laisys, you up for a chat?. I'd like to see if there is a common denominator. I'll be on Freenode for the next few hours. Anyone interested can join channel ##cantregister.
Just got a reply from Apple.
"
Please know that we are currently reviewing your inquiry and will get back to you when we have more information. We appreciate your patience."
........
I have the same issue and am not a sole proprietor but a limited company.
We are having the same problem...
same problem.
Just talked to Apple support on the phone and they told me that the name of our company was spelled wrong in dnb database or something, which is very strange. I checked it more than 10 times on dnb.com and everything was right. I don't know what dnb.com database Apple uses...
I am glad to see that i am not the only one.
I have the very same problem. Info on dnb are right but the enrollment fails with the message "Your D&B information was not accepted" (at least they fixed the spelling mistake)
Follow up from Apple support :
It is important to know that new DUNS accounts and changes that are applied to your DUNS profile can take up to 14 days to become visible within Apple’s queries.
If you are still unable to complete your iOS Developer Program enrollment after 14 days, please contact us so that we may work to further assist you.
We had same issue for one of our customer.
Then we tried same steps with our companies information (DUNS Number etc.) and it worked. Without any problem.
So, to understand what went wrong for our customer i have changed company name at the enterprise account application form (I have only added one extra letter) and it said "Your company name is not matching with the DNB database" Then i moved back and corrected company name, and result is "Your D&B information was not accepted"
Finally, i have created a new AppleId and tried it again and it worked as before. And if your change your company name, you get same error and you can not by pass this step.
For me, when you enter unmatched information to the application form, Apple bans your apple id to avoid brute force technique...
As a solution;
- Search your company from DNB web site and note your comany information
- Create new apple id, use DNB information for your company information and restart your application,
- At the applicaiton form, enter company name exactly same with the DNB database.
It worked for us, i hope it works for you too :-)
Ozerside: I received the same email - just a pity my details at D&B have always been correct
oguzdemiroguz: Thanks for the tip, will give it a try & report back
Woohoo!
Created new account with copy paste of D&B information and it worked! Thanks so much for the tip oguzdemiroguz.
This is really annoying from the apple side!
