I'm having the same problem, however a little worse:

Apple's system to check my DUNS number (https://developer.apple.com/ios/enroll/enterOrganizationInfo.action) tells me that the service is currently unable after i fill the form (i have this issue since i first tried it 2 weeks ago).

DUNS webpage has my DUNS Number (also copy-pasted from there and tried making a new apple account with no success).

Apple's forms (the one to check the DUNS Number, the registration form, etc) are all telling me that there are some insecure content on them and makes me select to Load anyway or not (making the page unable to fill) (MAC OS 10.7.4 on Chrome, also tried with Safari).

Is anyone having this problems too?

I really dont want to make my company wait for 2 weeks in vain :S

Follow up from Apple support :

It is important to know that new DUNS accounts and changes that are applied to your DUNS profile can take up to 14 days to become visible within Apple’s queries.

If you are still unable to complete your iOS Developer Program enrollment after 14 days, please contact us so that we may work to further assist you.

We had same issue for one of our customer.

Then we tried same steps with our companies information (DUNS Number etc.) and it worked. Without any problem.

So, to understand what went wrong for our customer i have changed company name at the enterprise account application form (I have only added one extra letter) and it said "Your company name is not matching with the DNB database" Then i moved back and corrected company name, and result is "Your D&B information was not accepted"

Finally, i have created a new AppleId and tried it again and it worked as before. And if your change your company name, you get same error and you can not by pass this step.

For me, when you enter unmatched information to the application form, Apple bans your apple id to avoid brute force technique...

As a solution;

- Search your company from DNB web site and note your comany information

- Create new apple id, use DNB information for your company information and restart your application,

- At the applicaiton form, enter company name exactly same with the DNB database.

It worked for us, i hope it works for you too :-)

I have the same problem.

I have just chated with D&B and they said:

"

Thank you for choosing Dun & Bradstreet Credibilty Corp. A representative will be with you shortly.

You are now chatting with Michelle.

Michelle: Hello, this is Michelle Prieto with Dun and Bradstreet Credibility Corp. How can I help you?

You: hello

You: you said something about apple being down??

Michelle: Yes, their systems have been down."

I had the same problem 🙂 , the best thing is to be patience, apple support team will resolve all your problems.

It realy takes 14 business days for D&B info to get throuht to apple. I started on 05.july my enrollment program, when i had received the first time "Your D&B information....". Don't try to create a new account and repeating everything because that wont help you very much. Best advice "be patience" .... until check out APLITAP.com

This applies to those that have a DUNS number and continue to receive the following error message:

"Cannot verify your company as a legal entity"

Apple attempts to retrieve data from specific fields in your DUNS profile. If the data is invalid or missing, Apple will return an error. Many of us, including myself, have a DUNS number but never filled out our online D and B profile. Unfortunately, this where Apple is attempting to retrieve the data from. You can update your profile via the D&B iUpdate website. This is free of charge and should resolve the issue. Keep in mind that once you update your profile, you are still subject to the lame 7-14 day propogation issue. Why Apple requires 14 days to update their query results is beyond me.

I got this from D&B this morning:

THIS IS AN AUTOMATED MESSAGE GENERATED BY THE D&B D-U-N-S REQUEST PORTAL.

Thank you for using the D&B Web Form process. Unfortunately, we were unable to fulfill your request based on the reason(s) at the end of this message.

Please contact D&B in the U.S. at 703-807-5733 or email SAMhelp@dnb.com for follow-up.

Reason for Denial : this company works with Apple, not the US Government.

So I guess this won't work for me 😟 I called D&B Mexico again and the lady at the phone confirmed that A) I'm not the only one with this problem, there's a lot more companies having the same issue since January, and that B) The way to fix it is to go through Apple support, who then will turn the case to a D&B agent who will ultimately match/fix/add whatever piece of information is missing from my profile, sigh, is it me or this whole process (supposedly easier than faxing the deed of property of the company BTW) is a lot of overhead? Now I'm just afraid that at some point both D&B and Apple will start balming at each other with my company trapped in the middle.
