Retina Macbook Pro WiFi and Bluetooth issue

Hey all,

i'd be really thankful for some info on the following issue :

i've got a Retina Macbook Pro and a Bluetooth Sound System from Logitech. The System connects to Macbook via Bluetooth which always works fine. Connecting to internet via WiFi works fine as well. The problem occurs when i use both WiFi and Bluetooth simultaneously : there seems to be some kind of interference, which makes my internet either go down completely or become very slow. This issue is not that nasty, but I'd expect a $2300 machine to work perfectly. So my question is : is this problem known for all of new Retina Macbooks or is it just my unit? In case it's just my unit, i'd still have a chance of exchanging it for a new one. But i'd like to know for sure where this problems comes from. I'd also be very thankful for every other solution you can think of.

Thanks in advance

Update : This evening i brought my RMBP + my Magic Mouse to the Authroised Apple Repair Service : http://www.eserv.com.sg where I tested their wifi + my RMBP + my magic mouse.

At the repair center, It is working without any issue. I can surf the net with my magic mouse at the repair center over Wifi. I dont know what freq their wifi is operating with..but seems like it is fibre and I assume their router is much more advance than the router at my home. (I didnt have the chance to look at their router).

Thus, I believe it is my home router (LINKSYS WRT54G) problem and my home broadband is running with coaxial cable. What do you guys think?

* I will do the reset of my router tommorrow or very soon.

They, the repair center, was probably running an N wireless network in the 5Ghz range. That is fine if all your equipment can do N wireless and in the 5Ghz range.

It is not your router. It is the way the rMBP is designed. It should connect to any wireless network in any range, B/G/N and 2.4 or 5Ghz. If it doesn't then the problem is with the computer.

How can it be the router when all other wireless devices, phones, pads, printers and computers of any make or model, connects just fine but the Macbook Pros, with or without Retina display, do not connect especially when the Bluetooth system is turned on.

Does it connect to your router with bluetooth turned off? If it does it is NOT the router, it IS the computer.

So I dont know what I should do now. Sigh.

There is nothing you can do short of selling that rMBP and moving on to another make computer (or maybe a MBP standard).

Apple will never admit it is a Design Flaw. Apple will always say it is your Router, Which is a Load Of Bull, even when you can show them that every other device ever made, Old or New even other Apple devices, connect to it without any problems. Apple will say it is because of the Newest Standards they are using for the Wireless system in the newest MBPs. Again this is A Load Of Bull.

But you can't argue with them as they already have your money.

Good Luck to you.
