How do you get a refund?

This is ridiculous. Only reason I got this update was to support my apple TV with mirroring. And now come to find out, burried on some sub-website, this feature is only for 2011 and later Macs. I would like my money back and this rubish removed from my computer!

If you can't admit Apple was underhanded in this matter, then you are blinding yourself/being a typical Apple fanboy "Apple cannot do wrong". Sure, somewhere they left the tidbits regarding what works and what doesn't in the new OS.

You need to work on your reading comprehension. All the information is out there, you just have to take the time and read it.

The fact is they did this on purpose so majority of users wouldn't notice.

Please provide some evidence that this was done on purpose.

There's nothing underhand about this and I am no Apple kool aid drinker, I've had my beefs with Apple in the past and am sure I will have more in the future.

The sneak peak Apple has had for OS X Mountain Lion has been available for ages with system requirements links etc. Your inability to follow or research those links are not Apple's fault.

If this was a Microsoft forum, would you be complaining that Windows 8 doesn't offer touch capabilities on the PC you bought just last year?

The fact that most of Mountain Lion's features are available on 2007 onward iMacs (5 year old machines) shows Apple's commitment to their users. Try running Windows 8 on a 5 year old PC - good luck with that one!

Dropping support for iPad ? Drop support for my Core2 iMac? Why? whats up with apple lately? Thats nearly £2000 down the drain!

I bought a Mac Mini late last year because i knew how greedy apple are getting; Good software; Greedy Company.

Steve Was NEVER this greedy, He'd be ashamed!

As for Airplay support, it's the same with Siri and the 4S, everyone knows it can even run on a 3GS; But apple will deny it as long as they live because it makes them money.

Though I agree that the info was made easily available, I also agree that I (who would have been in the same boat with a mid 2010 MBP) am responsible to make sure things will work before I buy. For this reason I decided (before the release of ML) to wait at least 48 hours to buy to let others like you to test it. I'm hoping that upgrades or fixes will follow. Again, I've been looking for the past few days, and it took some time for me to find the literature, but once you find it, how does one know if it's accurate? You only know once its out there being used.

Why do you need evidence? You cannot see the reasoning behind why they left this out nor can understand what I am saying, unless you are indeed trolling. I'll put it in lamens terms: The more important information they bury, the more copies they will sell, regardless if it works on a users machine or not. It doesn't take a genius to figure this out. I'm not arguing that they didn't warn you, I'm arguing they were underhanded.

Underhanded: Acting or done in a secret or dishonest way

Pal, I'm not trolling. I have over 70 times the help points you do, so if anyone is trolling it's you.

You said Apple left out certain critical information on purpose and with an intent to deceive people. You can't simply throw out an accusation like that without some evidence. Prove to me that it was done purposefully.

on purpose, by design; intentionally.
