iPhone 5 preorder says it will ship in two weeks

Just preordered the Iphone 5 and my receipt from the Apple store say that it will be available to ship in 2 weeks and will be delivered within 5 days after shipping. What???? I thought I would get it on the 21st of Sept. If this is true I will be canceling my order and getting in line at an Apple store onthe 21st. Also, At&t is saying that I am not elligable for an upgrade yet I bought my 4s the first day it was available last year. I had to pay 650 for it. Anyone else having similar problems.

So my order has been stuck on processing items for the past two days and has yet to change to anything involved with shipping. My friends phone already has a tracking number and is being shipped and I had gotten my order in before him. I'm curious as to where this leaves me... It still says 9/21 shipping date. I just don't see that happening if it hasn't begun to ship. Thoughts anyone??

Well im screwed. this morning my order went back to pending because they could not validate credit card even though they already charged it. I ordered my wifes at 11am and get this she is getting hers oon the 21st. bunch of crap. they said that if you order two phones sometimes the bank will cancel one thinking its a duplicate charge. I call BS but at least they put it in priority status seeing ive been with ATT so long. My wifes is waiting to be shipped. UHG my luck. I order at 7am and I get pushed. Hope you all are having better luck than me.

I ordered mine early Friday and the first notice I recieved stated that I would get it on the 21st. I then got another notice telling me two weeks and instead of the 21st it is now Oct 5. I am disappointed but there is nothing I can do. I even called Apple and they said that was too bad but there was nothing they could do. The rep then suggested that if I wanted one on the 21st, that I could go to my nearest Apple store early and wait in line to see if I could get one. I told her that I am a teacher and had to work. She suggested getting a substitute so I could do that. That is a ridiculous suggestion. I would like it on release day, but I am not going to pay a substitute out of my own pocket just to "try" to get it on release day. So congratulations to those who went without sleep and were in the lucky group confirmed to get thiers on the 21st. Just don't rub it in others faces who didn't or had the date changed through no fault of their own. I am disappointed, but my disappointment won't change anything.

I wish I did order earlier. Actually, I ignored my alarm somehow and woke up two hours past the release to my dismay. But bragging about your order status isn't going to help anyone and you just seem like a tool. I bet if your iPhone said this order status you would be "whining" too. Also I would apprichiate order status updates from anyone with the "ships in two weeks" status.

I ordered mine at 3:01am on the preorder date. lol. I didn't submit it until 3:15am because I wanted to be sure I still got the same unlimited data on ATT. I refuse to change it until all my friends get the iPhone5 and they can all facetime over cell networks. I got the email that says Available to ship: Delivers 9/21. and it still says the same on the website... but it still says "preparing for shipment" on the order page... I'm just thinking if it's supposed to be here friday, and they're using UPS, it would've had to ship already coming from CA to NY.... sooooooo now idk maybe im not getting it on 9/21...
