I dropped my iPhone and now it won't turn on

Hi All,

I dropped my iPhone this morning and now it won't turn on. It was fully charged. Originally, I could see that when I pressed the buttons the screen would light up faintly (although nothing was showing on the screen). I then pressed and held the home button and the on/off button to reset it. After I did this nothing happened and the screen no longer lights up faintly. It is completly dead. Does anyone have any solutions for me? Any other tricks I can try?

It sounds like when it was dropped, something messed with the display and now it isn't connected to the screen correctly.

Try connecting it to the computer and restoring, but the restore will wipe the phone. If it is recognized, back up the device first by right clicking on the device and choosing back up. If the restore fixes it, congrats. That means it was a software issue.

If not, it's the hardware and needs to be looked at. Repaired or replaced.

But I'm leaning towards hardware. iPhones are fragile.

There is alot of things you can do to get your phone to work ..

4 Days ago I put my iphone in my hoodie pocket and i was playing around with my friend and she cracked my screen ..

I did NOT flip out

But i Did get mad

my other friend yesterday dropped my phone and it landed on its back and the screen does not work

but the phone heats up weird isnt it ? but i tried that before i even saw you suggested that and It does not work most likely I have to go see if it was just that because they charge $100 to get it repaired 😐
