Am I the only one having ios 6 ipad 3 wi-fi issues

Have same problem. I turn of WI-FI, than turn on Airplane mode, turn of Airplane mode, turn on Wi-fi and everything working normaly again.

I was having this issue after the upgrade where I could not connect and when I did it would take me to this phantom apple.com page that said it could not be found. After I did a hard power down and restart I was able to join a network that had no security encryption. Security encryption could not connect but will keep trying and keep you updated (iPad 2) iPhone 4s upgrade to IOS 6 worked great.

FIX:

Settings > Wi-Fi > (Network...) > "Blue Circle Arrow"

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and set:

HTTP Proxy to Auto

When you try to connect to wifi it can't find the page it's looking for. The page is success.html

When you get to the page can not be found page type in success to the search field on the top right of the page.

then "success" will show up on a white page.

WORKING!

Do a reboot of your iPad/iPhone.

Close the App store when it's rebooted

Turn off WiFi

Turn WiFi back on

Click the blue arrow beside your wifi network that it's been connected to, click forget this network

Reconnect to your wireless network. Make sure that HTTP proxy is set to auto (unless you use an HTTP proxy)

Both my iPad 3 and iPhone 4S went just fine, but my sisters iPad 2 had issues. Doing exactly what we did above in that exact order fixed her problem. She did parts of the above, but not that in the full order. As soon as she did it, it worked.

Apple just trying to mess with us customers. I was beginning to enjoy my 4S with this iOS6 but darn thing stopped connecting to wifi and keeps opening an apple page. Sad thing is, all apple fans know that they won't say s**t until they figure out how to fix the problem

I had the same problem. Went into general settings, reset is at bottom, reset only my network setting, went back and put in network settings and is working better than ever. Hope it lasts!

I went to Network - Other and re-entered Network details works fine .

Found a Fix!

Go to Settings, then Wifi, once your network comes up click on the little blue arrow and turn on "Auto Join". Fixed my problem on my 4s 🙂!

I think I know what the problem is.

Some time ago I read that each time the iPhone connects to a wireless network, it connects to a server URL apple to make sure the wifi network is free and does not require further authentication at the router (eg WLAN no password but with internet charges).

Apparently this page of the apple server is not reachable at the moment, and the iphone believes then you should login to the router (and this shows the page that says "the page you're looking for, etc. etc.").

The only thing we have left to do is wait for Apple to solve the problem at a server level.
