wifi sync not working after ios6 update

Is anyone else having this problem. I updated to iOS 6 today on my iPhone 4s, everything else is working just fine, but wifi-sync isn't working, my phone doesn't appear in itunes until i plug it into my computer. Anyone have any ideas?

I believe I have the fix for this issue........at least it worked for me. My iPhone 5 now syncs over wifi everytime I open iTunes. I don't have to restart my computer or internet connection or router.

I am running:

Windows Vista Ultimate

iTunes 11.0.1.12

iPhone 5-CDMA Verizon

iOS 6.0.2

I don't believe I read this anywhere in here, but I simply uninstalled my iTunes and everything "Apple"(bonjour;apple mobile device support; apple application support; apple software update and iTunes). I did leave icloud; quicktime and safari installed...........these can be uninstalled if you go to start; control panel; programs and features.

Then I reinstalled just the new iTunes program from the Apple site. When iTunes finished reinstalling, all my music, apps, books, etc were all still there like I never uninstalled the program. Vvwalla......Working now!

In my opinion, the problem is with the bonjour service or something that when iTunes is updated, for some reason, iTunes sync does not work correctly. I have had this problem before and did the same thing and it worked then. I don't know why I didn't do this first.

So sorry this is happening, for awhile I thought I was just having router problems, but reset everything and both my iPad 1 and iPad 2 are recognized just fine, but no go with my Iphone 4s. Didn't realize there was a problem for while after the iOS 6 upgrade, as I don't sync to my MacBook Pro often, then other syncing problems popped up, like Kindle app won't keep things synced from or to my iPad 1 (iTunes not involved) but had worked fine before iOS 6 (Amazon isn't being at all helpful despite many posts from iPad 1 users on their forum). So today I got fed up enough with the syncing issues in general and the iPhone issue in particular, and went hunting for answers.

I honestly don't know where this solution came from, either this forum or Macrumors or another. Anyhow, I seem to have fixed the problem by turning off 3G data, leaving wifi sync checked in iTunes and then voila! My phone showed up in iTunes! So I did a wifi sync with 3G data turned off, turned 3G data back on, shut own iTunes, then I opened it again, and my phone was immediately recognized.

Lets hope it lasts. If it doesn't, I will update this post.

Latest iTunes (version 11.0.1.12) wifi sync seems to be working fine on my iPhone 5 running iOS 6.0.2 but not on my ipad 2 running iOS 6.0.1. The wifi sync works quite consistently on iPhone 5

Tried restarting router and Apple Mobile Device Services, but no luck to get iPad 2 back to wifi sync;

Home Sharing is working fine for both iPhone 5 and iPad 2

I think iOS 6.0.2 solves the problem.

Anyone has similar encounter?

Wifi sync not working on my iP5 after upgrading to 6.0.2 and I am running iTunes 11.0.1.12, highest version of both as of 12/25/12. This is a real pain. I have tried everything. I can ONLY sync with cable, will not recognize my iP5 over wifi. Apple needs to address this problem. I had the problem occasionally with ios5, but has been continuous with ios6 and 6.0.2 did not solve the problem.
