wifi sync not working after ios6 update

I find out that my ipad 2 can wifi sync with itunes, but not all the time it success, most of the time fail...

This worked for me too. Wifi sync started right after restarting network - modem, router, etc. Took 2 minutes.

Where can I download iTunes 10.6?

As predicted, it looks like its fixed. OSX upgrade to 10.8.2 mentioned something about iTunes synching issue and since upgrading, everything appears to work. That includes manual wifi synch, plugged in "standard" synch, and plugged in automatic wifi synch, all of which worked intermittently, after several tries, or not at all in the last couple of weeks.

This is with iPad 3, iPhone 4 and iPhone 5.

I tried turning off the wifi sync, then quitting iTunes, restarting my computer, turning it back on and enabling wifi sync this did not work. I tried turning my wifi on and off, also did not work. Running the latest version of OS X and iOS and iTunes it's just annoying I really want it to get fixed

Try going to Settings>General>Wif-Fi and then open your connection with the blue arrow.

Go down to the bottom and select Renew Lease.

Forget this option. Worked only once!

In my case the trick was to just turn off and on the wifi. It did the trick :-)

After a few days, it's back to where it started. Everything works intermittently.

It is definitely not fixed. The devices time out looking for my iMac, though sometimes it works or it works to start the synch in. iTunes. Not reliable and iTunes sometimes loses devices after they Re unplugged.

I also just received my lightening to 30 pin converter and it doesn't even come close to fitting the new Otterbox...

I ended up resetting the Network Setting on my 4s and iPad and iTunes is now seeing them both.

Setting > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings

I had the same issue with my MacBook Pro. I connected the device with the cable and opened iTunes. There I selected my device and checked "sync over wi-fi" option. Then I closed itunes, unplugged iPhone 5, turned off my router for about a minute, turned it back on, and then turned off AirPort off and back on.

In my case for some reason iTunes now sees my iPhone 5 everytime.
