ios6 won't connect to wifi

I just upgraded my phone to iOS6... When I got home, I noticed that I was on 3G, so I tried to connect to my home wireless network through the Settings control panel. The phone connected for a second, then went back to 3G, and a window opened to Apple.com titled "LOG IN" with a message along the top of the page saying "Hmm, the page you're looking for can't be found." I was not trying to use Safari. This was almost as if I was trying to log onto the network at Starbucks or some hotel where you have to go through a gateway to get to the internet.

What do?

iPhone 4S, iOS 6

I'm not suggesting I've found a solution. But I had the same issue and as I was reading this thread a friend texted to say he had the same problem. At that exact moment, both of our phones connected to wifi. I can't explain it, but I know how frustrated everyone is... So try texting another iPhone and maybe it will be magic like it was for us.

someone deleted this 😝 and that's how iphone looks up if it needs further login information ie guest hotspots and so on.

I've created that file on my site machine with http server and pointed apple.com to my internal ip (I have my own dns server) and it worked, but i see right now that file is there so you should be good.
