IOS 6 App store crash

same problem here i just want to go back to IOS 5

same thing happens to me. Also with my twitter, and safari crashes very fast

how can you switch back to ios 5

It is memory. The Ipod Touch 4 doesn't have enough memory to load the search page,because of the odd layout and size of the pages in search.The the feature page,update page and charts page work,because its a smaller layout.But the search page is an icon stuck on top of a huge info page,and there are 1000's,and it just can't load it. Even if it works, you only see the first app,and then you have keep swiping to see the rest,while the old way you see a dozen apps at once.I can see developers getting upset,because most users will not see their apps,but download the first app they see.

Hi, my app store keeps crashing too. I'm on ipod touch 4g with IOS 6.0 and I've just noticed that if you click on the app in the app store to see the info, the app store crashes but if you click the button to directly download it whether it be the "free" button or "pay for it" button the app installs! hope this helps, it's working fine for me 🙂

I have iPhone4, not 4S and my AppStore keeps chashing while searching, I'm on iOS6

I gave this a try but, unfortunately, it did not work for me.

I'd say it's like a compost heap - rotten and full of bugs! And NONE of the "cool" stuff like Siri or 3D maps works on iPod 4 anyway... Better off with 5.1.1...

yes, this happens to me too but it's whenever i try to look in genius or search, but sometimes other things like my mail and other apps that i use crash too. i even had to re-set up my mail account because it kept saying that it couldnt connect. If they could make another update that fixes this it might be better.

So... How long (if anyone knows?) does it take apple to fix issues like this?

I think Apple just fixed it ! Read this atricle that came out today :http://appleinsider.com/articles/12/09/28/apple-fixes-accessibility-issues-with- new-ios-6-app-store-design . I tried the App store search today on apps that always crashed,and they seem to be working now ! But I need to use for a few days to be convinced. And I guess Voice Over works to now.

Any person here realize if your finger touches the Developer Info under detail in the App Store it'll swipe to that page even if you didn't want it to. What a piece of crap that is.

for me on iPhone4 is still NOT working, if i click "Purhcased" the App chases

I'm not expecting my iPod 4th Gen. to work
