IOS 6 App store crash

but from all I know, this won't work anymore as apple has stopped signing their iOS 5 IPSWs

If it does, then please tell us as we could all benefit from it. This worked from me as I dongraded on the 2nd day of iOS 6.

Hav the same problem... Shut off thing doesn't work for me. The only option left is to downgrad?!

Same problem in here my iPhone 4S crash with opening apps !!!!! Come on apple do something about it !!!!!!!

Well I've got IOS 6.0 on my ipod touch 4th gen and apart from the app store crash which seems to have been fixed as it hasn't crashed since the day after I did the update I've not had any other problems. All my apps open properly, none of them have crashed as of yet. maybe it's just related to the iPhones?

That wouldn't help, Apple isn't signing iOS 5.1.1 anymore.

Have Apple actually shed any light on this issue? Or even said when it'll be fixed? The only real problems I'm having are the App Store crashing constantly when searching and a slight drop in pefromance.

I think the App Store crash issue got fixed since last night or before through their end. Last night I searched dictionary in the App Store and gave about over thousand results and didn't crash. Even remembered where I was when I went back to results. Now only my yahoo messenger crashes in the background if I leave it signed in and I do things like search on safari or use an app.

Apps store still crashes. Only after 24 out of 112 viewed. Is there a list view of apps as the new version is too slow and cumbersome.

The new App Store design is horrendous! Mine has just crashed after app 65 on search (was a struggle to get to this). Apple have seriously messed up on this. Still cannot believe what idiot allowed this change. The late great Steve Jobs would have sacked this employee for messing up a simple, great system.

apple is becoming lazy and careless without steve jobs. they release a half complete map update with a mobile operating system that is filled with bugs. they are now using pixelated pictures everywhere like microsoft. its like tim cook used to work at microsoft or something.

dont blame tim. its not him creating the software. its actually all of them together so its tim and all of apple. what the heck is wrong with them? i dont know. i just know that i am on 5.1.1 and cannot update because i know there is no going back

You're right Tim Cook alone cannot be blamed, however he is the man that took over Steve and I'm pretty certain that Steve would have had some major say against such user unfriendly updates. I have not seen so much debate about Apple's software on the iPhone like this before. It's like secret Android employees have influenced such ridiculous changes. I'd be surprised if many people like the new App Store design. We all know how bad Maps is....
