iPhone 5 wifi issues
My iPhone 5 connects to wifi networks and remembers them, but receives absolutely zero data through the network. LTE and 3G no problem... Off to the repair shop (after 3 hours of ownership...) or any ideas??

That's actually in the FAQ a couple of screens deep. Congrats.
Do you have a black iphone or white?
Seems like most of wifi conection problems occur with the black 5.
I'm debating if I should change mine to a white one.
I have a back one.
I have a white one. Cannot connect to WAP2. HEY APPLE - ARE YOU READING OYR POSTS?????????
16 gb black iPhone here
Any thoughts on being able to connect with no problems to wifi for web browsing, yet having painfully slow app downloads?
I have the WPA2 problem on a 16gb black and a 32gb white, both VZW phones. Plus these are replacements, so I've had the problem on 4 phones.
Make sure you are properly authenticated to iTunes. See if you can download an App and install it from you Mac/PC.
I think it was the network reset under settings: general. But I'm doing more testing
I have been having apps lock up like that recently. If its not done in 2 minutes, delete it and start again. Always works
Here are my speedtest numbers. Last night was about a 0.15 dl and 0.01 ul. After renewing my wifi lease, I'm at 25.06 dl and 3.86 ul. Black iPhone 32 gig production week 37.
Nah, my problem has nothing to do with AES or TKIP. Tried both. Tried WEP and tried it completely open as well. No difference. The wifi is just slower than any other device I have.
Worked tonight for me, will recheck tomarrow
Renew lease works extremely short term. Unless you plan on doing it every 10-15 minutes, it is not a fix.
Pardon my ignorance but how do I check the week my iPhone was manufactured as I am also having Wi-Fi problems... Are there certain weeks of manufacture to avoid? Thank you
