My iPhone 5 connects to wifi networks and remembers them, but receives absolutely zero data through the network. LTE and 3G no problem... Off to the repair shop (after 3 hours of ownership...) or any ideas??

Mine is from 37th week:( the iPhone has to be very close to the router to connect to the network. When I'm leaving the room with the router the signal disappears:(
I had the same problem. I turned off send Diagnostics and Usage (checked Don't Send) and it seems to have fixed mine.

I suspect the new iphone 5 have an advance chipset with didn't support the old hardware version of any wifi connection. It MUST BE THE HARDWARE ISSUE!!!!!

I am with you; my ipad and MacBook Pro are both wroking just fine and is every other wifi component in the house. I am headed back to the Apple Store today and get it replaced!

new ipad seems fine but my ip4 does not like the wi-fi at all. very slow
no, every model is experiencing the issue. Mine is 32 GB others have 16 GB.
No my 32gb is playing up too.
Changed some router settings and its improved the speed but the distance I can move from the router is still poor an still get the occasional lock.
