iPhone 5 wifi issues

i was told by 2 different people at 2 different apple stores that all of the cases that apple sells have been tested to make sure they don't have any negative effects on the phone, including wifi...

iPhone 5, have had it for a week. My wifi signal looked fine, but data speed would cut to zero randomly. Using 'Reset Network Settings' in General Settings fixed the issue for me, at least so far.

So you did swap out the hardware, just for the previous model. 😉 I'm glad it solved the problem for you.

Why did you delete my post? I really have the same troubles and really dissapointed by iphone 5 as update of iphone 4s. Annoying situation. Is wi-fi hangs software or hardware issues?

I have hungs. But I face it periodically, not always. It not depends on router or any wi-fi hotspot. But no 30 sec. The most of day wi-fi works normal

Wifi connectivity fast when it works but only limited to within 5 meters of the AP hotspot.

Also connectivity is difficult at times.

Waiting for a hardware replacement.

Ok so after I tried everything I got a new IPhone from the apple store and now my wi-fi works perfect its looking like a hardware issue is a cause

Started happening to my iPhone 5 last couple days. I found if I shut off wifi and turn right back on voila it works but not for long unfortunately.

New iPhone 5 owner who's been having this issue ever since getting the device last Monday. It's pretty irritating as 3G in my area is pretty poor (1mbps while Wifi gets 21mbps).
