iPhone 5 wifi issues
My iPhone 5 connects to wifi networks and remembers them, but receives absolutely zero data through the network. LTE and 3G no problem... Off to the repair shop (after 3 hours of ownership...) or any ideas??
iPhone 5, iOS 6

LOL Steph,
I can feel yor pain !. I had a Netgear product as well 🙂.
As for Anthony, if you're is a WAP connectivity issue, then read back on the last page and read my comments.
But when the iPhone is awakened it should reconnect!
The update didn't fix my wifi problem.
Still the same!
Anyone has tried the 6.1 just out? Any better for the WIFI? Thanks
me too ,, i have same issue ..
some times it work in some puplic network and friend's network .but my home can't even contact ..
at work it contact but no date come on
No, it DOES NOT help.
I had the same problem, I fixed it by connection to my Routers 5G network (My router sends out 2 different Wi-Fi, one 'normal' and one 5G)
Tested 6.1. Wifi Signal strength improve. Will do more test later.
Also explains why there seem to be huge waiting lists for the devices in some parts of the world! They've had to replace so many!
I was using an alluminum case and had the problem... When I saw this post I took it off and the WiFi just started working again! AntennaGate?? Not Again!!! 😢
My iPhone 5 64GB White drop WiFi signals frequently if I move a little bit or the iPhone recovers from sleep.
iOS6.1
Interesting point of view. Maybe that's why Steve Jobs opted for Glass covers instead of aluminum like the new Apple management has decided to use for the iP5 😕

Replacement phone, given by Apple store without question solved whole problem for me. Had it 3 weeks and all is well. Genius there said it was a 'wifi card fault'.
