iPhone 5 wifi issues
My iPhone 5 connects to wifi networks and remembers them, but receives absolutely zero data through the network. LTE and 3G no problem... Off to the repair shop (after 3 hours of ownership...) or any ideas??
iPhone 5, iOS 6

so tough luck. I and many others r also facing the same like u. Really so disappointing
this is because these softwares have nothing to do with wifi problem. This wifi problem is purely a hardware problem...so tough luck
The new 802.11ac Extreme is out for delivery. Maybe it will fix the problem, but I am pretty convinced now that this is a software issue.
Maybe this is not Apples fault but we just have to change our router settings? I have truely no other conclusion why it's not working.
You just missed the memo, that's all. It's a bit like finding out that there are shoes with velcro instead of laces. But with Apple, there are TONS of things we all collectively don't know.
Could you post model # and anything about your new IPhone 5
this is the hardware problem of wifi chip so u ll have to get ur phone replaced or wifi chip of iph5
its a HARDWARE problem of wifi-chip not software. Moreover why others Apple iph4 and 4S r being connected without any problem and adjustment...so disappointing
That's an iPhone FIVE with 6.1.3 that will connect
Get an app from the Mac Store called WiFi Scanner. It's $1.99, but there may be others that scan neighbors as well for less or free.
iPhone's aren't allowed to do it anymore. Only via OS X.
My (incorrect) "incorrect password" issue was cured by restoring my iPhone 5 as new. Try it; it's a hassle, but it worked for me.
What did you do? Restore using itunes?
Hi, yes i went into settings to reset my phone to factory so its totally wiped. Then connected to wifi straight away and restored my phone through my icloud back up.
Thanks - I tried something similar the other day i.e. wiped out phone, but restored from my itunes / pc backup and the issue is still there. I'll give your method a try and let you know the outcome.
That doesn't work if, in fact, you have a bad wifi radio. Many problems, no simple solution.
