When taking a picture, within about 18 inches from the iPhone 5, the flash will go on, but when the picture is taken it is either before the second flash or after. I this that way for any other iPhone 5 user? The pictures come out worse than if there is no flash, almost completely black, but when further away it seems to work just fine.

Disabling the location services in Privacy for the Camera fixed the issue.

This is a "Temporary fix". Of course, Apple should fix it truely quickly.
I'm hoping Apple will fix it for free but I don't want to wait that long but I also see lines on my phone every now and then. What is that. It eventually goes away but I don't think that's a good sign either. Kinda looks like a glitch and my flash all pics taken with flash is too white. Not happy with my Iphone 5 right now. Going to Apple store tomorrow to get some answers.

Bought Iphone 5-64GB two days back and facing the problem with the camera. Whenever Camera flash operates all photos are blur. Regret to note that even after lapse of couple of weeks since the issue reported in this forum, we have not seen any response from Apple towards fixing the issue. I am going to return the Iphone to the dealer tomorrow, as this problem appears to take long time.
