FaceTime missing from iPhone 5?

I've heard that the iPhone 5 is supposed to have FaceTime. Mine was just delivered today. I've set it up and noticed that the FaceTime icon simply does not exist. Is there something I am missing? How do I make it appear. I even asked Siri and it said "It doesn't look like you have an app named "FaceTime".

For those that do not see the Facetime icon right after iMessages in the Settings section try this offered by Farhan. Once the Facetime Restriction is tapped and shows green(which means allowed) you will find the Facetime icon appear in Settings.

1. Select Settings > General > Restrictions.

2. Type the passcode. If you didn’t set the passcode, ask anybody who had access to the device if they set one.

3. Set the Facetime restriction to ON

Why are you reposting someone else's post from 2013? And why are you answering someone who didn't have a problem, who was explaining how iOS 7 fixed the original issue?

You asked WHY, so my polite answer. I reposted to give that person the credit for answering the same problem I just had and thereby solved. While iOS7 may have fixed THAT issue, it did not resolve all the reasons for the subject "Re: FaceTime missing from iPhone 5?"

I'm sorry if my interest in helping other less technically inclined iPhone users offended you.

This thread was primarily about two separate issues. The original issue was that, at the time of the orignial post, there was no FaceTime app on the iPhone and this confused some people but it had nothing to do with restrictions. The other issue that got tacked on was the fact that phones designed for sale in certain countries do not have FaceTime on them at all. It cannot be enable by doing anything in restrictions. You replied to someone who noted that the first problem had been resolved by iOS 7.

Although changing restrictions is the answer to some questions, it's not the answer to any of the problems raised in this thread (which had been dormant for several months). I'm sorry if my desire to be technically accurate offended you.
