I've heard that the iPhone 5 is supposed to have FaceTime. Mine was just delivered today. I've set it up and noticed that the FaceTime icon simply does not exist. Is there something I am missing? How do I make it appear. I even asked Siri and it said "It doesn't look like you have an app named "FaceTime".

FaceTime is not an app on the iPhone. First, go to Settings>FaceTime and make sure that it's turned on and has activated. Then, if you wish to call someone using FaceTime, find their entry in your Contacts and tap on the "FaceTime" button.

Because those individuals purchased illegally imported gray market iPhones that came from outside of the Middle East.
Sir i recently purchased iphone 5 used , i updated it to 7.0.4 and using it in India , there is no facetime in it ... what can be the reason...? and can it be corrected...? please help... it is model MD297AE/A
If you would have read this thread at all, you would have discovered that that phone came from the Middle East from a country where facetime is banned by law. It is permanently removed from that phone. You can not add it.
any solution like flashing it to some other version like 5.1iphone ipsw or any other thing ... like anything on service provider side , here in India..
No. If facetime is important to you, the only "solution" is to sell the phone and buy one from a country where facetime is not illegal.
