FaceBook integration not working in Mac OS

From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.

Click: Remove All Website Data (deletes cookies)

Now back to the menu bar, click Safari > Reset Safari

Select: Clear History (also empties the cache)

Deselect the remaining boxes then click Reset.

Quit and relaunch Safari. Try Facebook.

I have done all the above .. but didnt do anything .. The same "The post cannot be sent because the connection to Facebook failed." keep on appearing and nothoing is shared on FB from my safari window..

Happening in Safari here. When I select a website and try to share it via Safari's fb sharing option, I get an error, that it can't connect to facebook:

This is only happening as of today. Tried from 3 different Macs with 10.8.2

Edit: Oh, I guess it's a facebook issue, as other people getting this too.

Same thing happens to me on iPad today.

Just started for me as well - and is occuring on my iPhone as well. On the iPhone the Facebook App works fine - it is just the iOS integration that is problematic.

Just piling on to confirm that this is also happening on my Mac as of this morning.

I can post to Facebook from my notification center but when I use the safari share button I get the same error message as shown in this conversation. I have cleared everything; logged out and back in. I can share to Twitter; but not Facebook.

So, it's not only me. T.T What's happening with Apple?

Since it has happened to everyone on different devices, I would assume something is wrong with the server side. Does anyone now how to submit the bug report for facebook integration?

From what I see in Console, I guess its an authentication problem on facebook's side.

Okay, I am not the only one with this problem. I can post statues from Notification Center, but I cannot share within Safari

SInce I have yet to update my Java, I would say no...

Thats an easy one. You just have to think a little bit... Now, would it happen on iOS if that was the case?
