FaceBook integration not working in Mac OS

For some reason FaceBook integration does not appear to be working anywhere in Mountain Lion for me today.

The links are all there, I am signed in to FaceBook.

In Safari I can seelct the share to FaceBook option but nothing happens.

In the Notifications panel I click on the 'Click to Post' button and nothing happens.

Is this a FaceBook issue or something on my compurer?

It only started today, I have rebooted, no effect.

All other share options work great 9Twitter, emal, message).

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2), 24 inch, 4GB

Well this is still broken for me (the OP) and to be quite honest it is a complete joke.

Nothing changed on my computer, this is an Apple / FaceBook issue that needs to be sorted.

Terrible that Apple have again said nothing, shameful.

This must be an issue totaly unrelated to what we were experiencing a few days back. 8 Mac's that had this issue from customers are now fixed and the issue has been sorted at Apple/Facebook's end. Have you tried creating another facebook account or if you have one from a friend or family member, log in with it to exclude your personal account being the issue.

It's the same issue, it started at the same time as everyone else, I even started the thread.

My account works perfectly well on my iPad and my iPhone, I can post to FaceBook from both of those with no issue at all.

I have no problem posting to FaceBook from iPhoto on my Mac.

Well this sorted it for me, but I'm not happy that I needed a complete reinstall of 10.8.2 Combo to fix something.

What caused the problem in the first place?

I tried reinstalling 10.8.2. combo and reseting safari but nothing happened...Lets find another solution!

I know the ans...first install os x mountain lion again above all your installation..then see the build it should be.. (12c60) then..update every thing..but dont install or update..."update for macbook pro and macbook air 2.0 "it is the culprit ...then hide that update..and remember to install offline version of combo and supplement update 10.8.2..ok..as sometimes when ur notification cetre not work then installoffline "combo and supp" updates...ok..REMEMBER NOT TO INSTALL MACBOOK AIR AND MACBOOK PRO 2.0 UPDATE...PLZ...AND USE UR SYSTEM...!! follow me https://www.twitter.com/ankit8083 https://www.facebook.com/ankit8083...good luck..DONT CHANGE UR BUILD..AS IF U WILL CHANGE IT THEN UR SHARE BUTTON WILL NOT WORK..IN NEW BUILD..!!And wait for apple to get new build after april 2013...but not download macbook pro and macbook air 2.0 update..which help in graphical improvements and some usb devices...!!

Im having the same problem with both facebook and twitter.
but im on 10.8.4 already and it won't let me install a update for 10.8.2
Please help
