iTunes 11 not syncing Outlook 2010 (exchange) Contacts and Calendar

I have the same problem. Syncing via iCloud is afaik not possible as Win XP is used. Has anyone a solution?

Problem could be solved by telephone support. You have to decide between local sync or syncing via iCloud. Just switch off iCloud in iPhone settings and local sync with iTunes/Outlook will work as before.

I, too, ran into this issue almost immediately.Fortunately I still had a copy of the iTunes 10.7 installer so I reverted back to the earlier version.

This is a show stopper for those who have business accounts that cannot sync both with outlook 2011 at icloud.

I want my devices to be updated when I create a new calendar event on my phone, or ipad, or personal mac.

I cannot have my business account calendar synced to icloud due to security policies.

Why not sync your exchange account directly to the iPhone instead of to your computer then to the iPhone?

Exactly. It isn't allowed in my corporate environment. Syncing with iTunes was the only way to get around that.

Plus, when there are issues with exchange and IOS, I don't want that corrupting anyone else. As was the case recently when you declined a meeting on your iphone it then deleted the meeting.

I just turned off iCloud of my iPhone4. The outlook synchronization selection in iTunes11 came back. It seams that Apple want to choose between iCloud or PC sync. The default setting of iTunes is iCloud and no setting in iTunes can make the change.

This future is not necessary anymore in iTunes as you can sync all your contacts & calendars directly from the Exchange.

If this is blocked in your corporate environment there is a good reason for this and syncing it locally is probably a breach of your company security policies.

I suggest you ask management, or the IT department if you are the manager, to enable mobile services on your Exchange account.

This is what I've seen. I went back to 10.7 and can sync both iCloud (personal stuff) and Exchange (work stuff). Really disappointed that this disappeared in iTunes 11.

How do you go back to iCloud 10.7? I need to do that until they add back the Exchange syncing feature.

I guess I posted in the wrong forum. I am having problems with Itunes for MacOS.

In any case the problem is that Apple removed the capability to sync using iCloud and Excange that existed in Itunes 10. I want that feature back.

I beleive it was removed from all versions of iTunes 11 (Mac and Windows).
