Cant connect to the Internet as I don't have an I address.
I have tried renewing dhcp lease and have deleted info such as preferred networks as well as rebooting my computer and nothing works.

For edex67's random future reference:
Sky's broadband is provided via an ADSL modem/router that uses PPPoA or MER (an apparently standards-based, but nonetheless crazy thing Sky use for authentication). Sky's FTTC (Fibre) service uses the usual Openreach VDSL2 modem, though I'm pretty sure they still use PPPoA/MER on a separate, Sky-branded router, for authentication. The default wireless and setup details are, like with most UK ISPs, printed on a sticker on bottom of the router, and include a WPS PIN. The login/password to get to the configuation page are admin/sky.
Essentially the relevence for these forums/support purposes is that they lack an easy to access bridge mode, and PPPoE doesn't work ("Believe In Better" my arse). As such, if you've got an Airport device and Sky's broadband, you're generally talking about either trying to very carefully construct a vaguely okay double-NAT arrangement via lots of DHCP configuration on the Sky router (the Sky User site/forums covers this relatively well), or turning Bridge Mode on and sighing as many of the features of your nice Airport device, wander off into the distance.
Having said that, it's not a Virgin Media Superhub 😝, though at least I think those now have a proper bridge mode of their own.
Not necessarily, you can use your flatmate's machine. Or you could just buy an Ethernet cable (PCWorld stocks them).
Ah. Well, I don't even have a Superhub. I have a ntl:250 from the Dark Ages. I don't even want a Superhub, my AirPorts work fine. Can you not call up and ask for a modem (if you can survive the hours of pressing 2 for customer support, pressing 3 for blah blah blah)?
With Sky? Nopes, though I can understand their lack of interest in investing much in trying to help a small number of customers set up slightly more complicated network arrangements, even if just quietly enabling PPPoE and continuing with their historical "you should only use our equipment + that's all we support" policy would make things a lot nicer for many of us.
Hmm. Most ISPs offer this for business customers and charge you (though, actually I don't think Virgin offer this. At least the Superhub has a modem mode for when I get my 125Mbit Internet).
When you go to http://ipaddresshq.com/ is it bringing up your IP address ?
