I have tried all the options.. I am on malaysia store.. but none of the options (after numerous restarting of phone and logout from apple id) works..

Followed exactly the same procedure

1) first procedure

Closed AppStore

Settings - itunes and appstore

click on the id

click on view id

enter password

click done

close Appstore

restart (home button and sleep/wake button pressed together)

started appstore

visit any apps (either from featured or search for the apps), once icon is clicked, it again shows the error

2) Second Procedure

Closed AppStore

Settings - itunes and appstore

click on the id

click on view id

enter password

click done

click on view id

sign out

close Appstore

restart (home button and sleep/wake button pressed together)

started appstore

Login to app store

visit any apps (either from featured or search for the apps), once icon is clicked, it again shows the error

3) Third Procedure

Closed AppStore

Settings - itunes and appstore

click on the id

click on view id

enter password

click done

click on view id

sign out

close Appstore

restart (home button and sleep/wake button pressed together)

started appstore

visit any apps (either from featured or search for the apps), once icon is clicked, it again shows the error

In this case not even logged onto to App ID.

All the cases, the updates icon was clicked and no error was shown there..

Any Idea, or some other tricks..

tried , the date and time auto selection on and off also that is also not working..

Not updated the iOS-- this is the last resort.. but before that any more suggestions...

Had the same prob & I somehow fixed it thru trial n error restarting my iPhone.

The key is restarting ur iPhone n thus clearing the AppStore cache.

Ensure ur AppStore is NOT at a page where the error pops up. So choose a section where the error doesn't pop up.

Close the AppStore from taskbar. Reopen the AppStore to ensure its not at the error section. Press home button.

This part I dun rem clearly. So try both methods. 1. Close the AppStore from the taskbar. 2. Leave the AppStore in the taskbar.

Hard reset ur iPhone with the sleep n home button.

Open AppStore n let it load the section finish.

Try opening the problematic section again.

Hope it helps! Really sorry if it doesn't... But I'm quite sure it has to do with the AppStore cache.

Started having this issue of "too many HTTP redirects" on Tuesday... I tried all the options listed here (except for fully resetting the phone). Here are the things I've tried

1) sign out of AppStore from settings.

2) re-start the phone (ie. power and home button at the same time).

3) clear cookies and data in Safari.

4) close all Safari windows.

5) close all apps

6) turn off Automatic Date settings

7) different combinations of the above...

Anyway, I decided to just leave it be until the weekend when I was going to reset the phone and start from stratch but what's interesting is that on Thursday, everything's OK again. So it kinda fixed itself for me!?!?!

hmm dun give up hcabbos🙂! Try using other combination of steps n restart more times.

i tried all the methods listed including: changing time to automatic, signing in & out of account, viewing itunes account, hard reset alone, closing all windows in safari, opening & closing apps tat i used b4 the error occured.

Then finally the method i listed worked for me. Hmm steintandescription seems to suggest it really has to do with the cache which was probably overwritten in his daily usage. But Im seriously no expert on this.

Odeenah wat app and actions were u doing b4 the error reoccured?

Hello, I faced this for 3 days. I think the reason that shows "Too many HTTP redirects" is because you search for Apps & while they're working, you shouldn't search other Apps while the last Apps you search aren't loading yet. Me too, I searched Apps & they're not loading yet, then I searched others. It suddenly appeared " Too many HTTP redirects". I've tried all things, restarted about 10 times, deleted some Apps, logged out from Apple account, but none has worked. Today, everything works really well, this is how it goes:

-As all the things above didn't work, I tried not to do anything & stopped going to Appstore for 2 or 3 days! (This is important, the more you go for AppStore, it will not work, so you must don't touch AppStore)

-I go to a place with a very good signal & coverage (FAST), suddenly EVERYTHING's ok now!!!

• hope this works for all of you, I'm trying to help!

*make sure you don't touch AppStore icon for 3 or 4 days, & if it works fine, be careful before you search other Apps, while the last one is still working!
