How to Recover deleted photos from iPhone 4S?

I was trying to transfer photos from my iPhone to my desktop. (Windows7)

After pictures were transfer I have deleted them from my phone before checking the folder on my desktop. When I have actually done that i realised that not all pics were transferred only 60 out of 400. How can I recover my photos now????

I have not backed up before syncing my iPhone after deleting the pics..... :((((

PLEASE HELP

PhotoStream is a temporary repository of photos for one month. It is primarily designed to share your most recent photos among your iCloud-enabled devices. A PhotoStream on a given device will contain up to 1000 of the previous photos until you reset it (which in your case is what happened). At that point, it will only recover photos from the current month.

There is no way to get them back - they are temporary. They should all still be on your Camera Roll, and they would still be in a backup if you have one (up to the time that the backup was taken).

You should be importing your Camera Roll photos on a regular basis to a PC or Mac. Neither the phone nor PhotoStream are intended as data storage facilities:

Have you backed up photos to iTunes or iCloud? If you have done it, you are in clover. You can use iPhone Data Recovery to help you recover deleted photos from iPhone.

I have tried to use it just now. It's really helpful. Thanks for your suggestion.

Turn the iCloud Photo library on.

This is what I did and got my photos back. I had the same problem today and had just updated Facebook app and then suddenly got spit out of mail app. Rebooted and lost all my photos. Did not have iCloud. My solution:

  1. on iPhone settings Mail, Contacts, Calenders - iCloud - contacts set to off
  2. on PC, downloaded and opened up iCloud panel.
  3. signed in with my Apple ID.
  4. chose to only upload Outlook contacts, calenders and tasks
  5. wait till everything is on the cloud
  6. on iPhone settings Mail, Contacts, Calenders - iCloud - contacts now set to on
  7. set calenders to on

8 look in contacts and they are all there

I know it's unfortunate, but with Apple as with any tech company, it is up to the consumer to back up his or her data, not the company's. And in this case, it seems like your computer failed to successfully import the photos from your phone, not that your phone failed to do a process. The camera/scanner wizard that pops up when you plug in your phone is a Microsoft program

There are two ways to Recover deleted photos from iPhone 4S

1. Directly scan and recover photos from iPhone 4S

a) Connect your iPhone to the computer

b) Enter DFU mode and scan iPhone

c) Preview and recover iPhone photos

2. Scan and extract iTunes backup to recover iPhone photos

a) Scan your iTunes backup for iPhone 4S

b) Preview and recover iPhone photos

c) Do backup well

Take careful note: Dr.Fone can NOT recover images directly from an iPhone 5 or 4S, only extract them from an existing backup. I assume they would if they could, and I don't see any other player in the game.

Does ANYONE have any other solution? I'm going to try as long as I can not to add anything to my phone, but it's going to get overwritten sooner or later...

There are many data stored on your iPhone devices, when you deleted some by accident, you can still recover them unless you have backup your iPhone with iTunes, so, it is highly recommend to have a regular backup for your iPhone, if backup, all of your data is still there, with iStonsoft iPad/iPad/iPhone Data Recovery, you can easily extract backup from your iTunes: hope this help you: How to recover deleted photos from iPhone

Would you expect that Cannon "should work at" somehow recovering photos you have deleted from the camera? You deleted them. You told the system to delete the photos from your phone before checking to see if they all imported correctly.

Your memories of South Africa aren't gone....your photos are. Your memories are still in your head.

Take some personal responsibility here. If these photos were as important as you have indicated, then you should have made absolutely certain that they were backed up correctly and completely before deleting them, essentially, from your camera!

For all the wonderful things that Apple is, they are not magic. Sorry they can't pull photos out of thin air. But again, they are in good company with every other camera manufacturer in the world....

Sorry you lost your pictures, but you need to need to man up on this one....you and you alone are the one responsible for deleting them.

While normally I'd agree, Apple has taken upon itself to reach a specific demographic: the non-technically inclined. They've gone out of their way to include services and features in their products that wouldn't be considered appropriate or wise by other tech companies.

We might even go as far as to say that Apple is no longer a tech company. It provides communications infrastructure, hardware, software, short-term support, long-term support, sales, warranty services, a repair and support network, certification programs, etc. What other company might have come close to this? The example that comes to mind is Ma Bell, and I've never met anyone that would call Bell a tech company or a provider of tech products.

Aside from the interpretation of Apple's mission, I think it's worth mentioning that Apple products were the first products I ever used that had such a thing as a Trash. The frustrating thing that I find about the iPhone is that there is no Trash or exposed file system. Why would you train your user base to depend on a Trash and then conveniently leave it out in a key product?

I understand to some degree where you are coming from. However, when you purchase a product there is some responsibility in using it. Apple has advanced technology but they can only hold a person's hand so far... the end user must step up and read up on their device if they put that much faith into it. There's no reason to blame Apple if a person didn't back up their device...it's like going camping without food, who are you going to blame the grocery store? The tools are there you just have to use them!
