Unable to complete activation - account not registered

After many tries... using itunes and xcode. I finally got ios 7 to work using the upgrade method. I downgraded using DFU mode then chose icloud restore after that was on it's way I "option" + Check for Update (NOT RESTORE) and it worked.

THanks for all the suggestions I was about to give up.

My guess - it's not any of us. It's Apple's Development Portal either being bogged down due to high demand, or it is simply inaccessible.

I too am getting the same thing; I'm a legit developer with an iPod Touch which is definitely provisioned; yet it still says it's not listed in the portal, even though it is.

In the same boat as all of you. I'm at the restore phase, having successfully downgraded back to 6. It's good to have hope - I was afraid my phone would be bricked until tomorrow morning when developer phone support opens.

Went to DFU mode back to 6.1.4 then option + check for update and clicked the ios7 ipsw and worked like a charm

After DFU back to iOS 6, then restoring to iOS7 using iTunes, iTunes then reports back the following, even though the UDID for the iPhone shows as registered at developer.apple.com. Am I doing something wrong, or is there an issue on Apple's end re: completing registrations?

This was my process that worked perfect.

Boot to DFU mode, and restore 6.1.4.

Restore icloud backup.

Load Xcode, click use for development

open itunes, option click upgrade

select ios7

It boots right up to latest icloud backup, and starts restoring apps.

Was able to restore all of my settings but unfortunately non of the apps downloaded. Does anyone know if there is a simple way to get them back or do I have now redownload each individually?

Do option + UPDATE (not restore)

Haven't tried it yet but that is what everybody else is saying

option + update restored the phone to ios 6.

Option+Click Update in iTunes did the trick for me!

Tried restoring through Xcode, nothing. Having exactly the same problem.

I'm suffering the same problem and now my phone is useless. Once you have installed iOS 7, the system does not let you downgrade.

I finally got it working! I did what everyone else is doing:

1. Restored iPhone 5 to iOS 6.1.4 via DFU.

2. Went through the steps to set up as a new iPhone to ensure that it gets activated.

3. Option + "Check for updates..." in iTunes, pointing to the iOS 7 beta IPSW.

4. Magic!

Well, yes it does, and I know because I just did it.
