App Store updates blank

I have a red "1" on my App Store app, telling me one of my apps needs to be updated. But when I go to the updates it won't show anything, it's just blank. Everything else in the App Store works but I can't see the updates.any suggestions?

Add me to the list of frustrated iPad customers. Both my iPad 4 and iPad mini are experiencing the issue, for about a week now. Frustrating that this isn't getting more attention in the tech blogosphere. And even more frustrating that Apple keeps telling people to reboot and make genius appointments. I wish they would just acknowledge there's a problem and let us know they're working on it.

This is really a frustrating issue. I have two new gen IPads and one third gen. The third gen seems to work fine. The newer ones are doing the same as everyone else. Blank screen showing it needs updates. Seems odd that Apple is experiencing this issue and not recognizing it to us.

My in house developer just informed me that Apple has been reporting lots of issues related to the new IOS. Wonder if this is having some effect?

Apple - please solve this!

To all having the issue ralated to iPad AppStore Update blank screen.

This is what worked for me. I tried everything on this post and almost nothing worked for me. When you have no updates you should get the "All Apps are Up to Date" screen, if you are still having a blank screen the problem is not fixed. I am saying this because I was able to update my apps, when I was experiencing this issue, by connecting my iPad to my Mac Mini computer, then connect my iPad to my computer and update the apps in iTunes using my computer and then synch the iPad with iTunes on my computer. The small update sign on the iPad AppStore icon dissapeard when the synch process finished. However the update screen still showed a blank after I completed this process.

So I contacted Apple and they recommended to Sign Out my Apple ID account from the settings screen and reboot my iPad, then sign in again. This method did not work for me.

Solution:

Following the same logic, I deleted my iCloud account from my iPad's Mails, Contacts, Calendars Settings. Then I added the iCloud account again. During the process the iPad will ask you if you want to retain your contacts, calendars and reminders on your iPad. I answered yes. Then when you add your iCloud account again it will ask if you want to merge the contained information and I answered yes.

Make sure you close the AppStore apps by double click the home button and delete the app from the recently ran apps bar at the bottom of the screen before you run the AppStore again.

Then I opened the AppStore Update page and it worked fine. Not sure for how long it will work since I believe the problem is an intermitent issue with Apple Servers.

I hope this works for you.

I'm not sure I would call that a "solution." With this many people having the same issue on a variety of models, I think it's clearly Apple's issue to solve on the server side.

Addtiionally, connecting to a computer to fix isn't acceptable. Part of the beauty of iOS since version 5 was wireless syncing, OTA updates and being "cable-free." Whatever solution comes needs to be cable-free.

I'm reticent to erase all settings as that's kind of a pain in the ***. And again, shouldn't have anything to do with App Store updates.

I received this message from Apple couple of days ago,

"We appreciate your patience as we work to bring our developer services back online"

So I assume something is going on on their side that might be an intermittent issue.

The way I fixed it on my iPad was by deleting my iCloud account from my Mail, Contacts and Calendar settings and then add the account back. It is running normal now. Deleting your account will not delete your info it will allow you to retain your info in your devices and then merge the information back when you add your account back to that service. So it is not a very clean solution but it worked for me.

Thanks,
