I can't restore my game data from Injustice: gods among us

My injustice game was giving some problems, and after checking on the WB games website for help, i was instructed to backup my data onto icloud, delete the app, reinstall it, and a cloud-shaped icon would appear in the app for me to load my saved data. I did this, but the icon never appeared, so now i have to start over completely, after making so much progress. Can anyone advise me as to what else i can try to restore the data on the app?

Three moths of gameplay lost in an update. No instructions on how to restore all my game data, coins and characters. ***? How can I get all my stuff back?

This is the worst update ever, WB just wants to destroy their loyal fan base!

Restored from cloud, was afraid because it said it was created 2 months ago but figured what can I lose and it completely restored everything. Good Luck if you try it.

Didnt notice cloud icon until after it happened and i restarted the game. Cloud icon is still there everytime I restart it.
