IOS 7 wallpaper resizing will not shrink photo to fit screen...

After update, wallpaper stretchs larger than image. Unable to resize smaller to fit screen. My photo only measures 24k @ 261x231 and is HUGE; bigger than the screen can accommodatem (shrink). Cannot resize smaller to fit screen. Any ideas/suggestions? I have tried resizing my photo (smaller crop in size and dimensions) and photos render too large for screen. Cannot resize smaller to fit. I know I am repeating myself. Just to be clear. Am I doing something incorrectly in IOS 7? Any ideas/suggestions or similar problems solving input would be appreciated.

I found out how to fix the wallpaper sizing problem. Go to Settings>General>Accessibility>Reduce Motion and turn it on. This removes the amount of movement that the wallpaper moves when tilting the ipad. This allows you to adjust the size of your wallpaper easily without it having automatically zoom in on you. Since the wallpaper will move less it allows you to resize.

This was probably happening to avoid showing the black background around the wallpaper when tilting a lot. Anyways hope that helps! :)

This will not solve your problem, but it will enable you to make the picture fit in your wallpaper. Download the app: squaready. Once downloaded, open it and open the photo you want to resize. Use your fingers to make the photo smaller and put it in the center, and on your left bottom, you can choose the color of the background of the remained area. Save it on your Album. Now go and put it as a Wallpaper. 🙂

It absolutely amazes me that after 38 pages of this discussion, there are still people chipping in every so often to suggest that turning OFF the parallax effect solves the problem. It does NOT! sure, the effect is much less pronounced but any wallpaper you set is still zoomed in such that you lose the edges of your original image.

The workarounds, might be useful to know, but they're workarounds ... for something as absolutely basic as setting a wallpaper so that the wallpaper displays the image you want, as it should look - there should be no need for anybody to have to resort to any kind of workaround.
