IOS 7 wallpaper resizing will not shrink photo to fit screen...

Hey all, I've been messing with my iPhone all night and finally figured it out. Download "instasize" via the App Store. It's free so don't worry. Pick the picture you want to set as a wallpaper for your home or lock screen and shrink it as much as you can. Then save the pic to your photo gallery and when you go to set it as your wall paper you can blow it up accordingly. This works will the motion on or off. This is a temporary fix until they fix the issue and God only knows how long that'll be. Hope this helps you guys out!!

Apple please fix this its extremely annoying that i cant size my photos to fit as wall papers properly, i speak for two people. Ive tried even resizing apps and they dont seem to do the job either screen shot doesnt work for all photos neither does cropping we dont know what else to do.

Hi, i finally found a solution, if you dont want your photo to be cropped just take a screenshot of the photo where it is in the photo gallery, and than set it, Let me know if this doesn't work

I downloaded and used the Instasize App. This works for now until Apple can fix the issue.

I have this app called Squareready, which i use to fit my pictures on instagram. Thought that would help me resize the picture and it did! So try it out! Hope that helps 🙂

Same issue here. Seriously frustrating!!!!!!!!

all you have to do is turn off the paralax distortion go to settings>general>accessibility>Reduce motion and set that to "ON"

Nein, it's not working. I can zoom the pic, but not shrink it. As soon as I remove my fingers from the screen, after pinching, the pic returns to the original size. Bummer!

I did have trouble with this also. Go download an app called Squaready. Resize you photo in there. Hope this helps! 😀

They need to fix this.

It makes me feel frustrated that when i try to set a nice, meaningful photo of my family as my screensaver, it zooms to the point where you can only see one person. It's upsetting to me, I am a pretty sentimental person. You can't even zoom out when trying to set the wallpaper, only in. I liked the original layout of how to adjust photos ...

Look, Apple, i understand you are trying to innovate the product's aesthetics, and i do agree that the setup is visually appealing.

However, these little but significant details like adjusting photos to fit to the users liking, must be practical. It's so much of a hassle. And it matters to some people.

All i ask is an update to fix this. ASAP. Let's stick to what the users loved. I'm really hopefully this is a bug,.

It doesn't work on my iPad. When I tap "Use as wallpaper" it moves to wallpaper settings where the reslution of the image is wrong again :-(

Taking screenshot of the photo didn't help me...as well as turning off the paralax :-/ Hope Apple will fix it soon, I want back sharp pictures on my wall paper :-)

I have the same problem tried all the above fixes but nothing works. Still the same how are you to have a nice family shot of your kids when half the picture gets cut off. Not happy.

I'm just really surprised something so obvious slipped though testing. Let's hope something more critical but less apparent hasn't been missed.
