IOS 7 wallpaper resizing will not shrink photo to fit screen...

For everyone with an iPad, I have another solution. Take your pictures upsdide down. Then rotate them 10-degrees opposite from the gravitational pull of the earth. Take a screenshot. Then invert the image in iPhoto, submit it to Instagram but route it through Facebook. Take whichever photo comes through smaller and resize that into approximately what you think is a third the size of the screen. Take another screenshot and repeat the process. After an hour or so, you should have a photo you like. Or, maybe not.

For everyone with an iPhone, reverse the process. Except the repeat part.

Or, for all of us, report the bug.

iOS 7.1 beta is out for Developers. It seems like the issue is still not fixed.

I think I've got it! if you look at the photo in your photos, then tap the screen so around the photo goes black take a screenshot with the surrounding black, careful not to touch the screen again or you'll get the photo numbers and it'll go back to white again at the top(don't want that) then apply the photo with the black around it, then it doesn't zoom in once you apply it as a background. Hope it works for everyone else!

I think I have the solution! We all need to do double back flips and kiss our own behinds! That will fix it!

You're asking this question rhetorically, right? I mean, pay attention. Apple hasn't done ANYTHING about it, but you would have known that simply by reading the preceding pages. This thread now stands at 41 pages. How many people is that? You figure it out. And this is only one thread of several similar threads, not only in the Apple Support Communities but on other mac forums as well. EVERYONE who has an iPhone or an iPad and tries to size photos--like they used to do without any problems---but is now unable to do that---is complaining about this. It used to work. It doesn;t work now. We;re all complaining and asking Apple to fix it. Any other questions?

Sorry, man. didn't realize that. Thought he/she was serious. Thought it was weird. Guess I'm just torqued over this issue, ticked off personally and wondering when it will get fixed. All these people suggesting complicated workarounds just make me angrier!!!!

I understand your frustration. My favorites are the ones who think they are the first to suggest turning reduce motion on.

Mine are the ones who suggest rotating the device and resizing their images manually.

Funny thing about that is, it actually works for some of us. Just the way it did before the updates.

For some. But not for all. That's the point. It worked fine before ios7. Now it doesn't. But it should. Workarounds and apps shouldn't be needed. Fix this Apple!

Log a complaint kids. I just bought that app to fix it - and ya the app is only a buck.
