I get 15 second delay when typing on iphone 5 after IOS7 update, even inputting pin to unlock has the same delay.

First step in your troubleshooting, I would try resetting the iPhone.
(Hold the hold button and home button together for 10 or so seconds until you see apple logo)
Thanks, just done this first time i put the pin in it was instant but now gone back the way it was with long delay
Same problem. The reset did not fix my problem, though.
It didn't fix mine either, it was just the very first time after the reset the pin went in instantly but after that it went back to the long delay. really annoying
Connect to iTunes on the computer you usually Sync with and “ Restore “...
Just reset all settings and this has fixed my problem.
Settings -> general -> reset -> reset all settings
This sorted for me

I'm having the same problem. Seems to be widespread.
Better, but not resolved. I guess I will have to do the full restore. At any point that I must use my keyboard it has the delay (SMS, Safari, etc).

Try turning off Documents and Data in iCloud...worked for me.
