Typing delay after IOS 7 update
I get 15 second delay when typing on iphone 5 after IOS7 update, even inputting pin to unlock has the same delay.

Resetting has worked for me - tried restarting and restoring but they didn't help

Turning off docs and data in iCloud is the key! It's sad, this problem almost ruined my whole iOS 7 experience..
I thnk the problem started for me when i changed the TEXT SIZE..
Yup turning of Doc & Data sync did the trick! I couldn't type all day!!😁
No need to restore... Just switch off the documents and data on icloud.
Settings -> iCloud -> Documents and Data (switch it OFF)
Totally resolved the issue on my cell phone
restore all settings solved my problem.
Restoring or resetting all settings didn't work for me. I have disabled and re-enabled Documents and Data in the iCloud preferences several times to test it. When enabled, typing delay *anywhere* is 5-20 seconds on my 4S. Disable it, and all is normal.
Hopefully they sort this out in 7.0.1.

This seemed to fix it for me, too. However, I, like many people I assume, leverage and actually rely on iCloud syncing and backing up my docs and data. I will not restore my iDevices back to iOS 6 if Apple does not resolve this issue quickly - as in a couple of days not three months from now.
